My Little Daisy

Chapter three

Wolves.. 

Great big wolves staring right back at me with a very dangerous snarl on each of their faces. not knowing what will happen, I slowly start to back away, but as I move each step, I bump into what feels like someone's chest. "Oh my god, I am so sorry I didn't mean to -" I was cut off when I looked into the mans eyes. they were a very beautiful golden colour with slight sparks of dark brown within them. his skin was a beautiful pale colour that never seemed to look creased or old looking, meaning he must be in his 20s. suddenly, he gave me a smile, which definitely made my knees weak, and my brain spin with many thoughts and wonders of this mysterious man. "No, no, I'm sorry, i should have caught you before hand, it is my doing," he says with an apologetic smile, making my smile even more wide.

"I'm Carlisle, and this is my family behind." he moves to the side so I can get a good look at them all. all have the same colour besides a small girl next to a woman with beautiful dark hair. "Y/n, me and my mother just move in just down the street from here. Um, is this area common for.. wolves?" I speak hesitantly, making him chuckle. "Don't worry about the wolves their friendly if your in no need to harm them, I can sense your a kind soul so they have no reason to attack" "now we best be off but it was nice meeting you y/n" as he speaks he picks up a beautiful flower and gently places it in my hair making me blush. "Y-yeah, it was nice meeting you and your family, save travels." they all give me a thankful smile and head off into the trees.

Carlisle's POV

"ok, what was that car?" Alice asks me with a bright smile. "What do you mean?" I stop as we near the house. "Why did you give the girl a daisy?" If my cheeks could blush, I'm pretty sure they would be right now. "I'm not sure. I guess I was trying to be polite," I say with a slight smile on my face, making Alice squeal. "It's not that big of a deal. I just introduced us and gave her a simple Daisy," I say, walking away to my office. "yeah ok Carlisle a SIMPLE, Daisy!" Jasper yells, making me lightly chuckle as I sit down at my desk with a huge pile of papers that need to be finished. 

halfway through doing my papers for work, I suddenly get this urge to see her again but decide not to since it might creep her out knowing a man she just met wants to see her again. "Carlisle, you know your thoughts are pretty loud for you being such a calm person," Edward says behind the door, causing me to smile. "Sorry, Edward, brains all over at the moment." I speak softly, making him open the door with Bella next to him. "Have you considered she might just be your mate?" Bella questions making me think over the situation. "I mean come on think about it, you have the urge to see the girl the first time because something smelt oddly 'sweet' to you, then you give her a 'simple' daisy as you recall, then you have a second urge to see her again which is exactly what I had with Bella" my eyebrows frown a little while I rethink over the whole situation. "I can't just go to the poor girls house and bombarde her with a whole speech about mates and how I'm a vampire Edward, i need to give her a little while while she settles in" they both nod and close the door with a smirk on their faces. 

A little while later, it was around half 6, meaning it was time to head off hunting, I left my office to see everyone ahead of me for once, waiting to head off. "Finally lover-boys here," Jasper chuckles, making me roll my eyes. "ok, is everyone ready to hunt?" they all nod and start to head off in their own directions, leaving me on my own, which is what I prefer. It keep sake me focused on what I need to do.

Your POV

getting my painting supplies in my bag, I say by to mother as I'm going to paint the Daisy field, the Daisy still in my hair I smile as I feel my cheeks flush. ignoring the oblivious feeling I carry on walking to the field, but on my way there, I hear a low growl behind me in some bushes, making me panic and start running towards the field. just as I thought I was going to get away I feel something knock me to the ground making me yelp in pain and try to prey the big animal off, suddenly it sinks its teeth into my left arm causing me to let out a dangerously loud scream. just as i thought i was going to die by a huge animal, something rips it off me. still yelling in pain, someone lifts me up into their lap and tends to my arm. "y/n darling, it's ok, it's ok!" Someone yells as I start to black out. "Carlisle, she's blacking out quickly!" The same person yells, causing me to groan in annoyance. "Y/n hey.. it's me Carlisle your ok now, you're safe. " I smile as he takes me out of the other person's lab and carries me away before completely blacking out. 

Jasper's POV

I stay beside Carlisle as he carries Y/n back to the house with the others behind us. "She's going to be ok Carlisle" he shakes his head as I open the door for him so he can carefully take her to the same room Bella was in for her transformation, Carlisle carefully placed her on a soft bed where he can tend to her really bad wounds as carefully as possible. "ok, I need to clean her wounds before stitching -" he gets cut off by Alice bursting into the room. "Carlisle, she's going to lose a lot of blood! it's not just her arm she was bitten on" Alice looked frantic as she runs over and ribs her whole right pant leg off that was covered in blood to show a huge cut going across her entire leg making him flinch at the size. "Carlisle, you got to change her!" he shakes his head as he looks at her with sad eyes. "Carlisle, it's either you send her off to the hospital or change her!" I explain, making him think a little and picking her up gently and taking her to his car. "Jasper, you get in the back and hold her as I need to drive." I nod and grab her from his arms slowly and sit her across my lap, stroking her hair gently. "Are you sure about this, Jasper? I dont want her to suffer with large scars. " I nod, continuing to stroke y/n's hair.

"Carlisle!" I suddenly hear a loud scream noticing y/n's awake. "hey your awake listen Carlisle's driving you to the hospital because you got bitten in the leg as well as your arm and your losing a lot of blood but your going to be ok" she quickly calms down due to me using my gift. "Carlisle.." is all we both heard as she blacked out again. Carlisle sighs in the front, making me feel rather guilty about the situation. "she's going to be ok, Carlisle, I promise you." he nods, finally pulling into the hospital and parking in the staff area since he's still working here. i slowly carry her bridal style into the hospital to find him talking to another member of staff that quickly takes y/n from me in a rush and puts her on a strainer. 

suddenly, I hear a loud crash from behind me, seeing Carlisle on his knees smashing his fists into the floor, cracking it a little, then getting up and pushing me aside and basically running outside. "Jasper, what's happened!?" I hear Bella yell from the smashed door, but I didn't reply as I run past them all to find Carlisle on his knees, letting out dry sobs while rocking. "I can't afford to lose another one.. I dont think I can take it. " he sobs still rocking, making me run to his side along with everyone else.
