My Little Daisy

Chapter four

I still can not wrap my head around love. it's such a horrible thing. because it can steal your heart and turn out fake or unwanted and leaves. or the person you love passes, and you're left with the sorrow of their death. but over time, you learn to accept that fact and find another love but soon turn out just the same.

Your POV

I hear low whispers around me as I slowly open my eyes to be within contact with a bright light.. wait, am I dead!? I sit up rather quickly, remembering everything that happened. "Carlisle.." I speak with a raspy voice following close behind. "Oh y/n, you're awake. Thank god, we thought we had lost you," Carlisle whispers, making me confused. "Why are you whispering?" he chuckles, making me even more confused. "you hit your head rather hard when you got tackled, we don't want to hurt your head more" I smile and stroke his weirdly cold skin but it didn't bother me as I continue to smile. " My little daisy.." he mumbles, bringing me into a hug and pulling me up so I'm carefully in front of him. "You silly little daisy.." I smile at the nickname and look into his eyes that are full of care.

"Your eyes. They are beautiful.." he smiles and strokes my head gently, leaning into the touch of him. "y/n, never do that to me again," I smile as I lean more into his touch. I suddenly feel a light feeling of his cold lips pressing against my forehead, making me flush a pink colour. "I never thought I would find you." I look into his golden eyes again and realise something.  Humans don't have golden eyes unless it's hazel.. and his eyes aren't that shade.. "Carlisle.. what are you.." he looks at me with a confused look as I back away slowly. "y/n, please let me explain, I promise you I'm not going to hurt you." I slowly back away and stand up from the bed and slowly start to back away from him. "No y/n, please let me explain. I'll tell you anything you want to know. " I dont listen as the others burst into the room with smiles on their faces. 

"Bella! why didn't you tell me they were all VAMPIRES!?" she flinches as I look into her eyes and realise she has the same eyes, causing my eyes to swell up with tears. feeling slightly calmer than before I sit back down on the bed and rake my fingers through my hair. "Y/n.. listen we was going to tell you but you got attacked so we thought we would wait but it seems you found out before hand, and that leads up to now" Jasper explains with a soft voice trying not to scare me. I nod, understanding. Carlisle slowly kneels in front of me and softly smiles and strokes my cheeks and wiping away the tears thar still fall down them. "I would never hurt you y/n, we class ourselves as 'vegetarians," meaning we only live off animal blood so there is no humans being harmed, you included, " he explains, making me smile. "'That's why all your eyes are a beautiful golden colour?" he nods. "So the doctors told us that all you need is a couple of checkups since you've been out for a couple of days," my eyes widen, realising, "my mother! have you told her anything!?" Carlisle puts his hands on my shoulders to try and calm me down. "Calm down she's outside with the doctors that are going to check on you in a couple of minutes," Alice says with a simple smile. 

-back at the Cullen house - Bella's POV

sitting on the couch with my daughter and Edward while y/n relaxes after getting back from the hospital, her mother y/m/n is stroking her hair gently. Carlisle beside her while she leans into him with a soft smile on her face. "How long until I'm well enough to paint?" Everyone laughs lightly, knowing how much she loves to paint. "look y/n that attack was nasty and you might take up to a month or two to recover, so its best if you try and relax while you fully heal" Carlisle explains making her groan and lean into him more into his chest making me smile slightly knowing my cousin is a lot happier than before. 

We all leave as her eyes slowly start to close, indicating she's falling asleep. walking outside with my daughter Edward turns back to y/n fully asleep and turns to me with a small smile on his face, making me smile back. "I'm glad he found his mate after what happened." he nods with a sad look on his face, remembering the last two years...
