Y/n POV
I never really gave that much thought on love. it never stuck out to me as I thought I was never interested in it. But meeting Carlisle changed my whole view on love and its magic to bring people together in the good and the bad.
Carlisle's been through so much with losing his past lover, and I do wish that this all never become what it is now. I dream of him and his wife living a long and happy life together for as long as they both live and I never enter their lives. But life is full of lessons that you have to learn and to accept what life has thrown at you.
Mistakes are made to ensure you live a full life and that are full of surprises.. that is why I am currently sat Infront of Esme Cullen's grave speaking to her like an old friend.
"I never wanted this to happen Esme.. that night never should of happened and I'm so sorry that It did, I would of thought I would fall in love with someone before.." I sigh as I feel tears dripping from my eyes onto the dry ground I'm sat on. "It was always supposed to be you that would live a long and happy life with him.. you were the supposed to be gifted with children in the future.. not me"
Rosalie's POV
hearing her speak to Esme made my heart shatter.. I never knew she felt so guilty about loving someone before. I always feared y/n.. I thought she was going to come into our lives and ruin it but taking advantage of us. but hearing her wish Esme was still here with us makes my undead heart flutter with happiness. "hey babe, you ok?" i turn around to find Emmett with a worried look. "yeah of course, why?" he shakes his head with a chuckle and pulls me in by the waist and kisses my forehead. "because you've been staring at y/n for the past half hour darling, is everything ok between you two?" I sigh with a smile. "She's guilty Emmett, she's guilty she took Esme's place" he looks over at y/n finally getting up from the floor and dusting herself off and walking back into the house. "Come on, lets go back in and see her"
I hope she's ok..
