Today was a very normal day at the agencey. And everyone was busy doing their own work except for Dazai who was lazing around as usual.
In fact it was the quietest it has ever been at the agencey as Kunikida was suprisingly not yelling at Dazai for not doing his work but was instead continuing with his own.
However the silence didn't last long as the door suddenly opened and in walked Chuuya. Some of the agencey members carried on like normal not botherd by the fact a port mafia member just walked in.
Nobody knew why Chuuya was here today even though the agencey and port mafia had agreed on a truce and help out each other if needed now that the guild had been defeated.
"Hello Chuuya" Atsushi was the first to greet him. "Hey kid." He said back and completely ignored Dazai.
And with that the first thing that Chuuya did was walk to where Kunikida was and sat next to him. If anything stopped Dazai from not doing anything all day then it was that Chuuya had not annoyed him first thing and sat with Kunikida instead.
He wonderd why Chuuya decided to do that since as far as he knew neither of them had talked to each other since the first time they had been on a mission together. Dazai chose to ignore the hatrack in favour of reading his book.
Meanwhile with Chuuya and Kunikida , things were actually going quite well. All that was happening was Chuuya was talking about whatever whilst Kunikida listend.
The agencey members did find it quite strange that Kunikida and Chuuya were acting like they were friends but decided not to question it any furthe since it wasn't anything to worry about.
It was now the end of the day for some agencey members as there was no need to stay behind to do any extra missions or no requests for any new ones.
And since Kunikida had finished everything he needed to do for the day that meant that he could also go home for the day.
Once he was out of the agencey he noticed Chuuya come up to him. "Hello , " Kunikida said. They both decided to walk together even if it meant that Kunikida would go off schedule for a bit.
"So , how are things?" Chuuya decided to ask.
Kunikida looked at Chuuya. "They've been fine." He said and didn't comment on it any further. It didn't really matter what Chuuya thought of him since it wasn't like they were that close with each other or anything.
"Look , Kunikida. I know that something is bothering you so just say it." Chuuya said.
Kunikida was suprised at that comment but didn't question it any further.
"Its nothing to worry about." Kunikida said looking away from Chuuya. He noticed the look on his face and gave in.
"This is stupid but , I may be having some feelings for you and its complicated " Kunikida said looking slightly embarrased.
"As in a i want to fuck you way or romantic way?" Chuuya asked. "Romantic?" Kunikida said still feeling embarrased about the whole thing.
Now it was Chuuya's turn to be the suprised one. This was something that he never thought he would have heard. Because there was just no way that was possible way that this was happening.
So it turned out that Kunikida had feelings in the romantic way for him. And honestly he could say the same about himself with Kunikida which did suprise him.
"You know what Kunikida?" Chuuya started to say. "I was thinking the same in some way. "
"You were?" Kunikida asked. He had no idea that Chuuya was possibly feeling the same way about him aswell.
"Yeah." Chuuya said. They both stood there for a bit before Chuuya continued again.
"So what do you say we start dating and see how it goes?" He asked.
"Hm , I'd like that." Kunikida said. "But I don't think we should tell everyone just yet." Chuuya nodded in agreement.
So this was it. They were now officially dating , all that was left to do was for them to tell everyone or wait for them to find out.
But they both knew it wouldn't be long especially with Ranpo and Dazai who would easilly figure it out quickly.
Chuuya also knew that Dazai probably wouldn't like their relationship but decided that he would deal with the bandage wasting machine another day.
But for now they will just wait to see how things go.
