Poe was confused. The reason for his confusion was simple. He realised that he had romantic feelings for his rival. Then the next thing that will have to happen was that he had to tell Ranpo about how he felt and that was the problem.
He was unsure of how things would go if he went straight up to him and told him. With all of his thoughts about his recent discovery of his feelings and not knowing how he was going to do anything about it , Poe decided to see if any of his friends could help him out.
So with that he picked up his phone and scrolled through his contacts untill he found the person he wanted to talk to and pressed call. He waited for what felt like an eternity untill the person on the other end answerd.
"Hey Poe. I wasn't expecting you to call today." Yosano said. "Well , I seem to be having trouble with something." Poe said.
"Ok tell me whats bothering you and I might be able to help" She said and Poe begun to tell her about how he realised he had a crush on Ranpo and didn't really know how to deal with it.
After a long talk Poe ended the call with Yosano. He was still unsure of the end result but he wanted to tell Ranpo how he truly felt about him. So the next thing he did was call Ranpo.
"Hey Poe! Whats up?" Ranpo was the first to start the conversation. "I would like to tell you something but I would like to say it in person not over the phone." Poe said and he then told him where they would meet up.
"Oh sure thing. " Ranpo said. "See ya later then." And with that the call ended leaving Poe suddenly feeling very nervous about the whole situation that he got himself into.
And now all he had to do was wait for Ranpo to show up which feels like forever even though it hadn't been long since the call ended. And thats when he started to overthink everything.
'I know I want to do this but what if he will hate me after I tell him? ' He suddenly thought as he begun pacing around as he waited. After some more minutes the door bell rang which brought him back out of his thoughts as he went to answer it.
He opend the door and Ranpo was there with his bag of snacks. "Hello Ranpo." Poe said as he let him in. Ranpo turned to look at Poe and spoke up. " So , what did you want to tell me?" He asked even though he had a good idea of what it is he decided to let Poe say it himself.
"Oh that" Poe begun to say. This was it. He wanted to tell him so he can't give up right when Ranpo is right there infront of him.
He took a deep breath to try and calm himself down and looked at Ranpo.
"Ranpo , before I say this I don't want anything to change between us ....." Poe started to say.
"Nothing will change between us." Ranpo said.
"Ok , then. Ranpo , I like you more than a friend or rival. "
That was it. He said it. He finally told him the truth of how he felt. He waited for what Ranpo's reaction to that as he went quiet since he told him.
"So thats why you was worried" Ranpo thought out loud. "Its cool don't worry. Infact I feel the same way about you." Ranpo said suprising Poe alot.
He honestly wasn't expecting Ranpo to like him back , not at all. Since he confessed which lead to Ranpo doing the same Poe figured it meant the two were now dating.
"So does that mean we are dating now?" Poe asked. "Sure if you want us to." Ranpo said. "Then I'd like that." Poe said.
And after that it was decided that they would wait awhile before they even thought of telling their friends about ther relationship with each other.
