"How did it go?" Amber asked me as her friends, Ashley, Astrid, and Attica, surrounded me.
"What?" i questioned.
"Mark!" my friends said in unison.
"Oh, it was nothing."
"You call it nothing with your first kiss," Attica exclaimed, "where I lived that would be a huge thing." She makes a big deal out of everything here in America. She lived in Ireland before she moved here.
"Still thats big," Astrid said.
Amber doesn't make a big deal out of it. Her boyfriend has already kissed her plenty of times. The bell starts ringing.
"Well, see you later guys," everyone says as they head off to their respective testing rooms.
The teacher, Mrs. Hemlock, hands back my practice test. There is a giant red F on the front page! Oh, no! i think to myself, this day couldn't get any worse.
It did
At lunch, after testing, i expected everyone to tell me Happy Birthday, but no one did. They acted like it was a normal day. Then they had a lock down. I guess that was a good thing because i got to cuddle with Mark. Up against his side.
