The Shah's are going to be the reason for Anupama's fatal miscarriage and Vanraj would, as usual rejoice.

Let's get to it...

I drive Anupama back to the villa, she lays in bed, I sit with her. She falls deep into sleep. She is pregnant! Anupama is pregnant with my child. How great does that sound? I have thought to myself it will never happen but I guess I must have done good deeds in my previous life. I smile and cry whilst watching her drugged by medicine and pills. It is going to be risky but I'm going to be the best father in the world. I look back at her for the last time before I head to the shower. I strip naked and go under water. I can only imagine the three of us in the ocean laughing, playing and running after him/her.

I simply can't wait.

"Anuj". She seats up.

She signals I give her water. The moment my eyes landed on hers I could sense the pain she is feeling.

"Are you alright?" I ask, clearly she is not but she nods.

"Sit up straight you need to eat". She refuses my hand when I try to feed her.

"Are you alright?". You know Anupama by now, she is least worried about her own health and more of others. I nod and feed her till she is full. I shift closer and get under covers along with her. She sleeps on my chest I brush her back.

"I have been to hospital check-ups for my pregnancies and the moment I saw that file, I knew what it meant. It was like a confirmation that I was carrying a Kapadia"

"Confirmation?"

"Yes. Nobody indulges in chocolate the way I have been these past few days. It just had to be because of you and now look I am pregant".

"Aren't you scared". Shit I'm scared as hell.

"I was with Toshu and Samar but with Pakhi it was a bit better so now it will be a lot better. I have you by my side".

We laugh and dream over our cute little baby on the way before we both pass out in that same position. I am gonna sleep like a baby tonight.

2 days later.

"I knew it the moment she told me her name was Preesha that she was sent by Samar. You hear that grandma?"

Grandmother descends the staircase finding Toshu, Pakhi and I in the living room.

"Hear what?". She asks Pakhi.

"That Samar sends and pays girls at school to act like my friends just to keep tags on me. That's sinister and stupid Samar!"

She hits me.

"That hurt"

"As it should"

"You are doing the right thing my sweet grandson, don't ever let her out of your sight for even a second. It's true I don't trust you Pakhi"

"Grandma!"

"What? What did I say wrong?"

Sweety sulks and gets busy. I keep on looking at the front door. Mother said she is coming today and I can't wait to see her, although I feel like she shouldn't. The family has learnt to live without her for the first time ever and as soon as they see her, it will forever be Anupama do this, Anupama do that and I don't like it I don't think Buddy liked the idea too.
