Sebastian P O V

I was awoken by the terrors of the past running around inside my mind, it was eating me up. How can I describe what I'm feeling? Maybe the fact I feel penitent, I will never forget the look on Y/n's face when she saw what I had done. However, that wasn't the only reason for my guilt. That night in the scriptorium, she insisted I cast the Cruciatus Curse on her. I tried to talk her out of it but she was adamant about her decision, then that's when it happened. The blood red specks that flickered from my wand and it hit her with full force. I stood there watching her body twitch violently, roaring screams as she tried to withstand herself. She described it as unbearable, writhing pain. She felt as if she had lost all of who she was, and even after all that, she still held a smile on her face. That specific memory runs through my head every night, I will never forgive myself for it.

After the unpleasant visions through my mind, I arose out of bed and decided to walk around the hallways. I doubt anyone would be walking around the hollowing halls at this time.

I leave the common room and I'm adventuring down the pleasing corridors. The castle is magnificent at nightfall, it's such an honour to be able to walk these halls.

While walking, I hear a low breathing tone and the faint footsteps that went along with it. Shit

I carefully tread hoping to lower the sound of my echoing footsteps.

As I carry on slowly wandering further down the corridors, I check behind my back as I feel a shiver run down my spine. In the flash of a second, I feel a warm presence in front of me.

Thump

I groan in slight pain as the body slams into me.

Shit, shit, shit.

I take a deep breath and dart my eyes at the person who I had encountered.

My eyes widen at the sight of the familiar frame,
''Y/n?'' faintly speaking.

I look straight at her as her soft and plump lips
parted.

''Sebastian?'' Her soft voice whispered.

I brushed myself off as I straighten myself.

''Why are you roaming the castle at this time?'' I furrowed an eyebrow

She looked hesitant to speak, I watched her eyes flicker trying to avoid contact with mine.

''I just couldn't sleep.'' Y/n then let out.

I don't believe that for a second but I won't question it further right here.

''If you say so.''

We stood in silence with no words to say,

''Undercroft?'' I finally said breaking the silence that laid between us.

She nodded slightly,

———

After a careful trip, we finally arrived at The Undercroft.

I hadn't been here for a good while, it just reminded me of everything. But, it is the best place in the whole of this castle.
