chapter twelve - boggart

I was awoken by a nudge, my eyes shot open and I sat up.

Imelda.

''Y/N, we have class.'' Imelda's hurrying tone spoke. I couldn't even make out what she was saying, I was that tired.

''Hello? Did you hear me? I said we have class, now get up.'' She then harshly said.

''Fine, I'm up.'' I stood up and almost lost my balance, whoops.

Time to freshen up.

Me and Imelda arrived at the doors of Defence against Dark Arts and we heard chatter coming from inside the classroom. We entered, intrigued to know what all the fuss from the others was about.

''I heard we're learning what our biggest fears are.'' A voice spoke rather loudly.

Me and Imelda looked straight at each other,

Brilliant.

Professor Hecat came in and revealed an old cupboard, glass embedded into it.

''As I mentioned during our last lesson, we are learning about Boggarts.'' Her frail voice said. Just then, another professor came in nodding his head at our teacher.

''I'll be 5 minutes.'' She then made her way outside.

Sebastian P O V

I didn't realise that I had woken up so late, I can't even think of an excuse this time. And worst of all, Ominis didn't even wake me up. I feel betrayed.

Little shit.

Rushing myself to get ready, I sprinted to Defence against Dark Arts and I saw Professor Hecat stood outside with an unfamiliar professor.

Quick Sebastian, think of a good excuse.

''Mr Sallow, why are you late to my class?'' Her stern voice spoke.

''Uh, so you see, I'm pretty sure I ate something bad last night and those consequences took a toll on me this morning.'' I'm so brilliant.

I noticed that she looked at me with an almost disgust on her face. ''I see, head inside.''

As I walked into the classroom, I noticed Ominis had already sat with Imelda. Are you joking me.

I headed over to him,

''You little shit, first you don't wake me up and now you don't save me a seat. I'm very offended, especially after the fact I looked after you the other day.'' I whispered in his ear.

He just held a smile on his face, ''Y/N is sat by herself, how about you sit over there?'' I looked over at her, I may as well. ''Oh and Sebastian,'' Ominis grabbed me before I went, ''I know it was you who stole my sweets.'' Whoops, guess I've been found guilty.

I quickly made my way over to Y/N, I took a seat next to her and coughed loudly so she'd notice my presence.

She didn't react.

I increased my tone and finally she looked at me.

''Sorry, I didn't see you there.'' I looked straight at her and there was a worrying expression on her.
