Chandler has never felt more at home than when she's sneaking into a club, a drink in hand and ready to dance. She had always been a party girl in high school, until she got pregnant and that changed her party experience. But now that she's an adult, going to high school parties is frowned upon and she can't go to college parties because she just doesn't feel like she fits in with all the kids close to her age who are still more worried about their exams and grades than real life issues. So a club is where she feels at peace, knowing she gets to let go and not feel like a mom for just a few hours.

Tonight, she's dressed in an black silk tank top with a pair of light wash jeans that are extremely ripped, paired with a pair of black strappy heels that give her a few extra inches that she could always use. She knows she's hot, but her best friends made sure she knew it as they all got ready together in her apartment. Penelope had made sure her hair was perfectly done and Beau had hyped her up as much as he could. They don't look any less hot, both of them ready for a night out with her for the first time in about six months. Thankfully, their parents had wanted a night in with their little "granddaughter", so all three actually got to go out instead of Penelope staying in with Wren to give Chandler a night off.

Eyes gravitate to the trio as they make their way through the club, to the bar to get their second drink of the night. They're not strangers to the way they get watched when they're all together, admiring them. It had been that way since they had meet in elementary school, the twins almost year older than Chandler but instantly adoring her and taking her under their wing. Also, a little bit of the watching is people trying to determine what the dynamic is, whether they're all siblings or if one is dating another one or even if they're all dating, like Penelope and Beau don't look like twins.

Without paying much attention to the other people at the bar, Chandler sneaks into an empty spot between a man and a woman who are obviously not together. The woman glances over to make sure it's not a man encroaching on her space and shrugs, turning back to watch the bartender make her drink. The man, however, glances down to see who has joined him and turns back to the bar just to end up doing a double take and gliding his eyes over her body to take in the tiny bombshell standing next to him, almost pressed up against him but somehow managing not to be touching him at all. She glances up at him, eyebrows raised as she watches him check her out.

"Well hello," she says, her lips lifting into a smirk. "See something you like?"

"Yes," he answers honestly, not beating around the bush. "You're gorgeous."

"I know. Thank you. You're not too bad yourself."

He chuckles, "Thank you."

Her eyes turn back to watch the bartender not even glance in their direction, paying attention to other female patrons around the bar. Her eyes roll a bit, annoyed by the slow service and just wanting another drink before going back out on the dance floor and finding someone to dance with. Beau and Penelope are waiting back, letting it clear a bit before they order their own drinks. He's watching her in amusement as she twiddles with one of the multiple silver rings adorning her fingers, her eyes moving back over to look at him instead of the bartender.

"Having only one bartender on a Saturday night after a hockey game isn't the smartest choice," she notes. "There's a big crowd and I'm not getting my drink fast enough."

"You a big hockey fan?" he asks, suddenly cautious and worried he's meeting a girl that only cares about the fact that he's an NHL player.

"Yes and no," she admits, smiling easily. "I like the game and definitely attend some games when I can. And there's a few players I could name, thanks to edits on TikTok. But I wasn't aware I was going to be standing next to Trevor Zegras when I snuck in between you guys."
