Ch4. Feelings?

"You go take you're stuff to your room, I'll pick you up in a bit," Johnny planned as I adjusted the strap of my bag over my shoulder.
"Sounds like a plan," I gave him a toothy smile, "See you in a bit."
With that I started walking back to my dorm, enjoying the warm golden sun on my face as I hummed a little tune.

Walking back to my dorm took about 10 minutes. It was nice anyways because the warm sun was out and the breeze wasn't cold. Anyways I made it to the dormitories and once again began my journey up 3 flights of stairs to my room. The wooden floor planks always creaked under my weight no matter how I tried to step, so sneaking out of here without having anyone awake hear you would be hard. Not that anyone would stop me anyway.

I made it to my door, you could tell this building was pretty old just from all of the painted over scratch marks everywhere. Some monster need to learn how to have nice things I swear. Anyways I pulled out my M.U lanyard with my dorm key attached to it and unlocked my door. A shivered wracked through my body as I felt a draft hit me from the open window as soon as my door opened. Guess thats my fault for always leaving through the window, I don't know how my room hasn't gotten broken into yet.

Anyways I shut the door behind me and tossed my light bag onto my bed. Grabbing a brush from my dresser I went and stood in front of my mirror attempting to smooth out my black fur. It's not like I want it completely flat and smooth like some nerd, I just don't want to look like I got hit by a hurricane. After my fur was mostly brushed out I just sprayed some cologne spray on myself and connected my phone to its charger for a bit before Johnny got here. I was actually really surprised he invited me out to eat with them.

Now that I think about it. He didn't say anything about Sully, I don't even think anyone's invited him. Would he really invite just me? I mean what's so special about me? Other than my dad being a famous scarer, but so is Sully's. I don't know what to think, maybe I'm just overthinking like I always do. I decided
to lay in bed and just stare at my ceiling for while until Johnny called or honked from the outside.

Why am starting to feel so weird around him? I don't know why but whenever he acts flirty I can't help but get a but flustered. But he's like that with everyone... isn't he? My ringtone broke me out of my thoughts. I grabbed my phone without answering and hurried to my door already knowing Johnny was outside. I grabbed my keys and wallet and locked the door behind me. I rushed down the stairs and made it out the entrance seeing Johnny leaning on the hood of his car outside.

He didn't notice me as he focused in his phone, the golden light from the sun reflecting perfectly off of his features. I don't even know why I'm staring in the first place. I cleared my throat trying to catch Johnny's attention, accidentally startling him in the process.
"Oh! Hey there didn't see you," he said letting out a breath, his face slightly reddening, "Why didn't you answer?"
"Oh sorry, I knew you were out here when I saw your call so I figured I'd just rush down here," I apologized.
"It's fine," Johnny got up from his hood, "C'mon hop in," he motioned to the passenger side.

I got into the passenger side and took a second to admire the fancy and comfy interior of the car.
"Oh wait almost forgot," Johnny said after igniting the car.
I watched him confused as he leaned over the center console to reach into the back. From the back seat he revealed a neatly folded red jacket.
"For you," he held it out to me, "of course if you'd accept it," he looked at me expectantly.
I took the jacket from his hands, "Of course," I stammered as I opened the jacket up and stared at its design, "Why so soon though, I've barely had my first day in class?"
"Just a feeling, I think you would do a great job at representing Roar Omega Roar, and I can't have any of the other fraternities get to you first can I?" He winked at me.
I blushed and looked down at the jacket, it looked just like the one Johnny had on.
"There's other stuff like pullovers and such, it's just back at the house," he explained.
