Chapter 5

Hermione POV

"So. What brings you two here this lovely evening?" He retorted coldly.

"Well, we're here on a date. Now please leave before I get angry." Draco snapped at Cormac, staring blades at him.

He walked off, still glancing back at our table.

"Oh my god!" I whispered, lowering my head and leaning towards Draco so he could hear me. "He's staring at me!"

"Kiss me." Draco gritted his teeth, quickly spitting out the two words.

"What?!" I mean, I wouldn't mind it... but I don't want him knowing that!

"He'll stop staring!" He widened his eyes at me, if I knew any better, I would say he wanted to kiss me.

I leaned in closer and was expecting just a peck on the lip, but Draco stayed there; kissing me. And the weird part: I was kissing him back. A tingling sensation shot down my spine as I enjoined the warm pleasure of his lips on mine.

Draco POV

"He'll stop staring!" I looked at her hopefully as she nervously glanced at Cormac, who was still dreamily staring at her.

She leaned into me, pressing her lips against mine. I closed my eyes, why was I enjoying this? I shouldn't be. But I was. Very much indeed. It filled me up with warmth that I had never felt before. Did she feel what I was feeling? Who am I kidding. Who would ever even like a former death eater? We broke apart as I gazed into her hazel brown eyes, accidentally getting lost in them.

"Is he looking?" She looked down at the table. I snapped back into reality.

"Oh- no he's not anymore. Don't worry." I reassured her, lowering myself back into my chair.

"Is everything oka-"

"Everything is splendid, thanks for the concern." I snarled sarcastically at Cormac who approached our table.

"Can I take your orders?"

"I'll have this." pointing at a random dish on the menu, not even looking. I just wanted to get rid of him.

"Can I have this, please." Hermione scanned the menu, before pointing at something on the menu.

"Of course. Anything for you." he smirked at her.

If only looks could kill.
