Chapter 18 - Wanted In More Than One Way

We all jumped into the black van, cameras flashing at every angle and press shouting at us in every direction. Big Kev and other security at the award show were having to literally push us into the van as we had no space to move. Even once we were inside I felt claustrophobic and struggled to breathe and the pregnancy wasn't exactly a bonus. I sat next to Nareesha who had Siva on her left. In the moment they were sharing a little kiss and I smiled. They had one of the best relationships I had ever seen, why couldn't I have one too?

The car door was shut and we started to drive to some local bars as cameras chased us down the street. My jaw dropped to see so much manic and cameras here for my brother and his best friends. Siva caught me staring outside and turned to me and Nareesha. 

"Remember that time in the lounge, when we planning this year out, Jennifer?" I turned to face him and smiled.

"Of course, it was kind of a difficult time though." I said purposefully, making sure Nathan and Tom heard me. I'm pretty sure they did as I heard whispering behind me and when I looked over the back of my seat I could see trying to kiss Tom but him pushing her away, a stern and angry look on his face. 

"Well, when I said it was going to be crazy. That's what I meant. When we're usually in LA or somewhere like that, it's usually like this. When me and Nunu went out in New York the other day sightseeing before we met up with Joel and Kathryn, we went up the empire state building. The amount of times we were stopped for pictures was mental." Nareesha nodded and rested her head on Siva's chest and I smiled, placing my head on the door frame a few minutes later.

Most of the boys were tweeting about thanking fans for winning them the award and Max was on the phone to Scooter about tomorrow's interviews because they won. I was going to get to be at every single one too, I was honoured!

Eventually we arrived at the bar and everyone got out. In true Jom style (Jay and Tom's ship name), along with Kelsey headed straight over to the bar, with the music pumping way too loud.

I covered my ears and me, Nareesha, Nathan and Siva sat down at a table in the bar. Max followed Jay to the bar and got us all drinks. They brought back around thirty drinks and then I realised I wasn't even able to drink. 

Siva handed me a shot but I told me I'd wasn't up for it.

"Are you OK? Not in the party mood, hey?"

"Something like that. I'll just go and buy myself some orange juice."

"Drinks are free for us, Jennifer!" Jay shouted behind me as I got up and walked around the corner to the bar. I looked down to see if my shoes were dirty whilst waiting for the bartender. Unfortunately I struggles to see.

"Of, fuck." I said. My stomach was huge now. This baby grew fast. At that moment, I felt a hand on my shoulder and I turned around.

"Pregnancy hey? How is it going?"

"Oh, Nathan. Alright, but it's grown a bit fast, don't you think?"

"I don't know that but what I do know is that I'll love that child with all my heart." He bent down and kissed my stomach, whilst I cupped it with my hands. That was the cutest thing he had ever said. 

"What about Ellie then?"

"I love her, yeah."

"Aw, good. Glad to see it working out for you."

"Thanks. Hey, erm two orange juices please." Nathan said to the bartender.

"Huh? You're meant to be celebrating?" 

"Well you know I would but we're both too young to drink out here anyway." I laughed and he hugged me, before carrying the drinks over to the table.

"I'm glad that even though we argue-"

"A lot." He replied.

"Yes but the fact that we can still be friends." He looked into my blue eyes and smiled before sitting next to Max.

We spent several hours taking photos of each other, drinking and talking,. It was the first time as a group we had all been out so it was a pretty special moment. Me and Nathan were sat next to each other and would occassionally whisper in each other's ears things about the baby. Tom noticed and started to drink more heavly then before. However, I loved the fact I was able to be so close to Nathan without arguing just for once. I wish he felt the same.

By around 2 A.M., Kelsey was hammered and kept hitting on Tom. It was hilarious. He kept pulling away, just like earlier until eventually he snapped.

"Stop it! OK?" He said and got up, looking at me and Kelsey as she was next to me.

"Mate, calm down." Nathan said on my right and I started to shake a little.

"No, I can't do this anymore. Have none of you noticed or something?"

"Oh yes, definately." Jay said and the others laughed.

"No, you clearly haven't, you don't even know what I'm on about."

"Mate, watch it, seriously. Don't do anything I wouldn't do."

"Well, 'baby Nathan' I didn't have the chance because of you and your slimey hands."

Oh. My. God. I knew what was coming.

"I think you should go to bed Tom."

"And do what you did. Don't think I don't know. Come on, spill. Jenny, Nathan?"

"This is a party, not a court." Nareesha said angrily. I smiled at her andshe ran over to give me a hug, I'm glad she understood what was happening.

At that moment Jess, my friend, text me. 

'Hope the baby thing is going alright. TELL THE BOYS CONGRATS!! xxx'

I turned my phone off, not the time Jess.

"No, no, no. I'm not done." Tom slurred.

"Stop please, Tom. You're confused."

"Jenny, I'll deal with this," Nathan said, holding my hand behind his back as I started to whimper.

"Jay, have you got it yet?" Tom yelled to Jay and everyone in the bar stopped to stare at us all.

"No, I'm confused actually and I'm not that drunk."

"Tom, come on lets get you home." Nathan said, trying to get Tom to move but in a moment of madness, Tom punched Nathan and Nathan fell to the floor.

"Now, where was I?" Tom contiuned and I rushed to Nathan's side. "Oh yes, your slut of a sister was dating me before sleeping with your best friend, Nathan. Oh and I did I mention, Nathan got her pregnant. And wait it gets better, Nathan dumped her and pretended to date Ellie again. In fact, he was covering for me so I could get close to Jenny." I screamed a little in fury and sobbed into Nathan who was trying to get up. Everyone looked at me in disgrace and there was no point in defending myself. What had I just heard? How did Tom know everything. 

The texts, I thought.

The party back at the house, when Nathan looked to have been crying.

How had I never worked it out?

I got up from the floor and ran out of the bar door. Jay was calling after me and I could see Nathan standing up next to Siva. Kelsey was being taken out of the back door by Max to the hotel and so I kept on running. It was hard to run in heals but that didn't stop me. I kept going an going, as fast as my legs would take me. 

It was quite chilly outside, expecially because of the time. I managed to make it out of the bar enterance to near the road. Suddenly, my right heel snapped. Nareesha was going to kill me. It snapped as I approached the middle of the road. I was so desperate that all I cared about was the shoe. I turned around and picked it up-

BAMN!

Then I was in a blackout.
