I smiled faintly as the pendulum clock in the hallway chimed seven. Nathan got up from the end of the bed and picked me up.

"Come on Cinderella, you shall go to the ball."

"Why thank you Prince Charming. Well I think that was his name." I winked and he laughed as he carried me to the top of the stairs.

"Did you never read fairy tales when you were younger?"

"I did, sort of. I read them to Ella Louise when my parents were out."

"You need to read them all again. I bet you mix up Snow White and Little Red Riding Hood." We laughed. He then slowly placed me down so my heels touched the ground. I was still laughing at this point, until he took my hand in his and held them against my pale skin. My face was quite cold by now and my eyes sparkled in the light. He looked deep into my eyes and I felt shivers go down my spine.

I'd never noticed really how beautiful he was until then. No wonder why he had millions of girls falling at his feet. These girls that would hate me if they knew the truth about our 'affair'.

Nathan took my hand, softly and walked me down the old fashioned but grand marble staircase and into the hallway. Once we reached the bottom he kissed my hand. At that moment a member of management, who I'd never seen before, came to whisk Nathan away from me.

A tray was being carried around the house with champagne, so I took one and stood by the stairs, talking to a few of the arriving guests. Finally, Nareesha arrived and I stayed with her. However, everyone knew her, so they wanted a chance to speak to her making me tag along.

At first we spoke to many journalists and magazines before Nareesha found a friend who used to go to the London College of Fashion with her. "Kelsey! Hi, how are you?"

"Nareesha," she said hugging her "I'm great, and you?"

"Aw, I'm great too thank you!" I stood there awkwardly.

"So you and Siva and your own shoe line. We need to catch up. How long have you been together now then?"

"About a year now," then she turned to look and me "and yes we need to catch up. Oh and by the way, this is Jay's step sister, Jennifer."

We got talking for what seemed like hours and eventually the boys returned from their interviews.

Nathan and Tom returned a few minutes after Jay, Max and SIva. By the looks of things, Nathan had been crying. By this point, Kelsey had aready taken a shine to Tom. Yes, she clearly liked him.

After only just a few short mintues with everyone questioning Nathan about his red eyes, he put his drink down on one of the tables and walked out as fast as he could. We all looked at each other.

"I'll go." I volunteered. Jay looked at me in astonishment and Tom turned away. What was going on?

I shouted Nathan's name as loud as I could but the noise of everyone talking stopped him from hearing, or did it?

I ran out of the living room and followed Nathan to have a chance of talking to him. A few guests tried to talk to me but I rushed past them, telling them to wait. I know it was rude but it isn't easy to run in six inch heels.

I eventually found Nathan at on his bed in his room on the phone. I snook in and heard him crying to Jess.

"I'm sorry, I love you but I need to go now Jess," he snivelled "I don't want to lie though, bye." He jumped when he saw me and threw his phone down, placing his head in his hands. It was only ten days until Christmas and he looked a mess.

"Nath, what's happened?"

"I'm sorry, everything has changed," he whispered, "I didn't want it to but under certain circumstances, it's had too. I'm sorry Jenny."

"What do you mean, I don't follow?"

"I love you." He said and walked towards his door. He wiped away the remaining tears from his eyes and I tried to hug him. He just pulled away and started to walk towards he top of the stairs. I grabbed his hand and looked into his eyes before trying to kiss him just like we had before, on his sweet lips that I'd never forget. "Get off me." He yelled with the guests downstairs turning their unwanted attention to us.

"Why?" I said starting to cry.

"Me and Ellie are back together. This has to stop." My face dropped and he ran down the stairs. The old fashioned chair in the corner of the upstairs hallway was then filled with sobbing, red eyed girl.

'I want to take you out on a date :) xx'

'I'm free everyday you know and just come to my room. It's next door. :) xx'

'OK, then. Be ready by 6 and we can sneak out :) xx'

I was ready at six and when Jay saw me dressed to go out I said me and my friend Jess were going out for a meal. He said it was fine and let me go. I waited at the front of the gates for at least ten minutes before Nathan came out. "Sorry, had to get past Jay."

"It's fine," I said kissing him, "nice choice of clothes, I like it." I winked.

"Why thank you." He replied. He was wearing his 'socially awkward' top, a snapback and some jeans and converse. A taxi arrived and I was off for my first date with Nathan.

We arrived at a posh restaurant in London and my side of the door was opened. I stepped out and Nathan took my inside. "Table for two please."

"Name?"

"Mr Sykes." The man looked in shock.

"Of course, yes, we have you special tables over here."

When the waiter walked off me and Nathan burst out laughing. "He was cute."

"He was funny." Nathan replied.

After we'd ate, Nathan told me he had a suprise planned.

"Come on, hurry!"

"I can't run in heels, you should know that." The sun was setting above the water as the waves slowly crashed against the rock. We were at the beach. "It's beautiful Nathan." I said kissing him.

"Just like you." I smiled and kissed him again.

That had been just a week before we and Nathan broke up.
