Chapter 21 - Moving On

*Anything in bold is what is currently happening somewhere else, with someone else where Jenny isn't currently at or what she doesn't know about*

"In boyband news this week, hot new comers, The Wanted have had to cancel future tour plans in Australasia this week due to unseen circumstances. A spokesperson for the band apologises to all those fans, and refunds will be given to those who bought tickets. Future gigs are scheduled but it has caused major upset in the country. Each member of the band execpt Thomas Parker, tweeted about how devastated they are about the news." The American newsreporter spoke, as the tweets were shown on TV. I picked up the remote ready to switch it off when another picture was shown. "And the baby of the band, Nathan Sykes, was pictured last night at a bar in LA, looking worse for wear after what appears to be a row or feud with another member of the band. Reports are made that Nathan last night, supposedly have a major row with a friend and is seen here, drinking his pain away.We hope this isn't true but as you can see here Nathan was pictured leaving the club alone. Is Nathan single, Jay?" 

"I'm not to sure Ellen, we'll have to find out. Maybe he had a row with a girlfriend or and ex. Who knows, his last girlfriend Ellie accordedly cheated on him not so long ago so who knows how Nathan is feeling right now?" Jay replied, another newsreporter.

"Vunerable, I suspect," the newsreported finished before going on to talk about the latest sport around the US this week. I turned my TV off in my room and glanced over at my phone. 

No new messages.

I hadn't had any messages since I text Nathan and that was three nights ago. In fact, l lied, Perrie Edwards text me last night. I'd known her for a while now and she was a close friend of mine. She happened to be in the girlband Little Mix, who I was a massive fan of, I wasn't going to lie. I had become great friends with each membr, Perrie, Jade, Jesy and Leigh - Anne. The girls were out promoting in the US and Perrie had found out from my friend Jess, since we all attended the same college a few years ago, that I was in hospital. Perrie and the girls wanted to come and visit me before I headed back home as if was rare that we saw each other now. With the girls cracking every country possible and the boys doing just the same, we never seemed to once be in the same country.

I desperately wanted Nathan to text me as I didn't want to have to text him again and look desperate. I had text him once, hoping we'd at least be friends but maybe he didn't even want that?

At least now he had the chance to move on with his life. Find the girl of his dreams, the house he's always wanted, have a proper family.

I'd be happy enough even if he just payed occassionally for some of our child's clothes. I know now that he'll be a brilliant dad. It'll bring the best out in him, for sure.

I flickered through an American magazine that Kelsey had bought for me at the hospital shop. It had pages of fashion, celebrity stories and then a weekly section of a singer. This week was Beyonce. I started reading the article as I loved Beyonce.

"I'm not afraid now. I know my limits and I know who I can trust. You just have to get out there and be you, nobody else. If you need to move on, move on. I know I was born to be a singer, and if it's meant to be, with anything in life, it'll happen, you know. I believe in God, I'm a big follower and I believe that everything happens for a reason so having an experience where I perform for the President is just fate I guess. It's happened at the right time-" I stopped reading. Beyonce was so confident, I dreamed of wanting to be her. She wasn't afraid like I was.

'Everything happens for a reason.' I wanted to believe in the saying too but after my parent's death it stopped me. I couldn't. I had to stick with my heart from now on.What good came from death?
