The day passed quickly for Wednesday and Enid. After finishing classes they found themselves in front of the classroom that was being used for the meeting with the little kids.
"I can't believe we're doing this" Wednesday muttered
"Same, I'm so nervous than I swear I could wolfout" Enid said
It will go okay, just breathe
"Any tips you could provide us with?" Wednesday asked Thing, hoping for some guidance.
Be yourself
"Brilliant" Wednesday said sarcastically, frustrated with the short answer.
"You don't think she will get scared about my scars, right?" Enid asked, her insecurity showing in her question
"Enid, you're the personification of a rainbow and you're the most tolerable person here. It will go fine" Wednesday assured her.
Translation: You're beautiful and the kindest person I know, she will like you
"Thing that wasn't wh-" Wednesday was interrupted by Enid
"Thank you, Wednesday and Thing" Enid said, feeling a little more confident.
"Don't mention it" Wednesday said as she walk closer to the door stopping only to wait for Enid to follow her

As they entered the classroom, they saw other students already interacting with the kids. Some were playing with toys, while others were drawing or reading books.
"Wow, they all seem so happy" Enid whispered to Wednesday.
"Indeed, what a horrible sight" Wednesday replied
As they walked further into the room, they were approached by a woman in a white coat.
"Hello, I'm Ann. I'm the psychologist in charge of ensuring the well-being of these children" the woman said with a warm smile
"Hi! I'm Enid and she is Wednesday. We're here to meet Lily" Enid said smiling at the woman
"Before I take you to meet her, I just want to let you know that Lily doesn't speak much, but she can communicate in other ways when necessary. She usually just nods or stares. But don't worry, she's a sweet girl and I'm sure you'll get along just fine." Ann explained kindly.
"Thank you for letting us know" Enid said while Wednesday just nodded
They followed Ann in silent.
"Here she is" Ann said, leading the way to a corner of the room where a small girl was sitting. "Lily, these are the girls I mentioned earlier. They came to meet you. I'll leave you with them, okay?" Ann smiled reassuringly waiting for the little girl reaction
Lily gave a small nod to Ann, indicating that she was okay with it.
"Amazing, since today marks the first day of your interaction with Lily, it will only last for two hours. Please make the most of your time with her and be kind." Ann said
As Ann walked away, Enid and Wednesday approached Lily, but as soon as the little girl caught a better sight of Wednesday, she shrank back in fear.
