||This chapter is narrated from Enid's perspective||
As the last class of the day ended, I packed up my bag and slung it over my shoulder.
I walked out of the classroom and saw Yoko leaning against the wall, scrolling through her phone. She looked up and smiled when she saw me.
"Hey Enid, do you have anything planned for the rest of the day?" she asked.
"Not really, what do you have in mind?" I asked
"Well I need help with planning a surprise for Divina" Yoko said
"That sounds like fun, what kind of surprise are you thinking of?" I said intrigued
"I was thinking of going to the lake, make a bonfire, roast some marshmallows and watch the stars together" Yoko grinned mischievously
"Omg that sounds romantic!" I exclaimed. "Count me in. What can I help you with?"
Yoko handed me her phone and showed me a Pinterest board she had created with ideas for the surprise.
We spent the next hour seated in the quad brainstorming decoration ideas, food options, and activities Yoko could do together with Divina.
I couldn't help but giggle at Yoko's suggestion to add kissing to the activity list.
"You can't spend a minute without thinking of kissing her, damn you're down bad" I said teasingly.
"Oh please you're just jealous I have a hot girlfriend to kiss" Yoko chuckled.
I rolled my eyes and laughed.
"I'm happy for you two" I said sincerely.
"Thanks, Enid. I really appreciate your help." She paused for a moment and then added, "You should probably go to your girl before she kill me" Yoko grinned.
I followed Yoko's gaze and saw Wednesday standing a few yards away, looking at us with a frown.
I shook my head in amusement at Yoko's teasing. "I will see you later" I reiterated, before making my way over to Wednesday.
"Hey" I greeted her with a smile.
"Hey" she replied flatly, still looking at Yoko.
"Please don't kill my friend" I said
Wednesday finally turned her gaze to me and let out a small sigh. "As much I would want to know how is like to maim a vampire I won't try it, yet"
I chuckled. "Well, that's a relief. So, were you looking for me? Also, where is Thing?"
"I need you to come with me to the hospital to see how Lily is doing. I already spoke with Ann and we have the permit to leave. Thing is busy with something," Wednesday replied.
"Oh sure let's go, did Ann told you if everything alright with Lily?" I said
"Ann said she's stable, but I want to see it myself. Plus, I want to ask Lily something."
I could tell there was something on Wednesday's mind, but I didn't press her for details.

As we made our way to the hospital, the silence between us was comfortable. I knew Wednesday well enough to know when she wanted to talk, and when she needed her space.
As we arrived at the hospital and made our way to Lily's room, I couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. The last time we were here, it was because of the attack of the Hyde and Crackstone.
I pushed those thoughts aside as we entered Lily's room.
I felt a lump form in my throat. The little girl looked so small and fragile lying there in the hospital bed. She was hooked up to machines that beeped and whirred, and there were tubes running in and out of her body.
I took a seat on the other side of her bed and took her hand.
"Omg... hi Lily we came to see you" I said gently.
Lily looked up at us, her eyes filled with pain and confusion.
"Lily, I know you're in pain but can you nod if what I say is correct? You were attacked by someone, weren't you?" Wednesday asked
Lily nodded slowly, her small hand squeezing mine. I felt a pang of sadness in my chest. It was heartbreaking to see such a young child in so much pain.
"I'm going to find out who did this to you and I promise you they will pay for it" Wednesday said firmly
"I want you to know that you're safe now, we won't let anyone hurt you again, okay?" I said softly
Lily's eyes brightened at the reassurance, and she gave my hand a gentle squeeze in response. Despite everything she had been through, there was a resilience in her that was truly inspiring.
"Would you like me to tell you a story?" I asked, hoping to distract her from the pain and discomfort she was undoubtedly feeling.
Lily nodded eagerly, and I began to weave a tale of adventure and magic, feeling a sense of gratitude that I was able to bring a moment of joy to this brave little girl's life.
To my surprise, Wednesday joined in on telling the story. She seemed to know just the right moments to interject and keep Lily engaged.
As we told the story, Lily's eyes never left us. She was completely focused, hanging onto every word. It was as if the story was the only thing that mattered in that moment, and nothing else existed in the world.
When we finished, Lily looked up at us and gave us a small smile. It was as if she was saying thank you without having to use words.
We spent a bit more time with her, trying to keep her spirits up and making her feel comfortable.
As we left, I couldn't help but feel a sense of sadness. It was heartbreaking to see such a young child have to endure so much pain and suffering.
It seems this semester will be as dangerous like the past one. I have to be alert and protect Wednesday no matter what.

Hi again! Thank you for taking the time to read this.
I wanted to add a little dynamic of Yoko and Enid because the show didn't give us justice to their friendship. S2 better have more scenes of them >:/
