Chpt. 12 | Leonardo {True Ending}

Welcome to the true ending! I know some of you probably want Akari to end up with someone else, so that's why I'm making multiple endings. And even if you don't want Akari to end up with Leo, I hope you guys continue to read. That might be selfish of me to ask, and it's okay if you don't want to read anymore, but I really love my readers and I try my best to satisfy everyone's wishes and desires. 𝟛𝕣𝕕 ℙ𝕖𝕣𝕤𝕠𝕟 ℙ𝕆𝕍~

It's been a couple weeks since the Hamato brothers and Akari saved the world... again. And everything has been well in the neighborhood, at least to Akari it seems that way. But in reality, the turtles have been secretly fighting. Of course, after everything that's happened, they don't want Akari to know. Splinter doesn't even know. But there's only so much you can hide from a person who senses these things very easily.

Akari finishes her shower, drying herself off completely before putting on an oversized hoodie and some spandex shorts. She puts on her fuzzy socks and some slip on shoes before making her way into the main area. The only people in there are Leo and Donnie, so Akari quickly calls for Mikey and Raph.

🧡 "What's up, Angelcakes?" "I just wanted to talk to you guys about something. You're not busy are you?" 💙 "No, of course not. What's going on?" Akari nervously plays with the strings of her hoodie. She digs her canines into her bottom lip, nervously chewing as she avoids eye contact with the brothers. 🧡 "You're not leaving us again, are you?" "What? No- no- no! Not at all! I just-... There's something I've noticed about you guys lately, and I-... God- you guys know I'm not good at this stuff."

💙 "What's wrong, Akari?" The young woman sighs before running her fingers through her short hair, eyes finally meeting those of Leonardo. She smiles softly in return as he smiles sweetly and reassuringly. "I know you guys have been fighting, or at least disagreeing with each other, something along those lines. And I want to know what it's about. I don't wanna go backwards, so please tell me what's going on." Mikey's confused smile drops as Donnie nervously fidgets with one of his gadgets. Raph and Leo share heated gazes, anger and resentment festering in each of them. Akari sighs again, already noticing the tension between the group. 💙 "We haven't been fighting at all. Where would you get that idea from?" "Oh- come on. Do you really think I'm that stupid? I've known you guys for over a year now, and you really think I wouldn't notice when you're fighting behind my back? Or when there's tension between you in general? At least give me a little bit more credit." 💙 "I promise you, Akari, we haven't been fighting." "You should already know not to make promises you can't keep, Fearless. I know you've been fighting, so instead of lying or making up excuses, let's talk about it for once." Leo sighs before flopping down in Donnie's office chair. Mikey and Donnie step to the side, not wanting to be included in this conversation at all, but knowing Akari won't let them leave either. Raph scoffs quietly as he crosses his arms, his amber eyes never leave Akari's bright blue ones.

❤️ "Why are you so curious, anyway?" "Why wouldn't I be?" ❤️ "I mean, if it was any of your business, we would've included you already. I'm surprised you didn't think of that yourself." "Okay, lose the attitude, Raphael. I'm not about to fight with you over something so trivial. I just want answers. And we live together, so don't you think I deserve answers?" ❤️ "Not really, no." "Well then, you can keep your mouth shut and I'll talk to Leonardo." Raph growls but ends up keeping quiet anyways. Akari turns her annoyed gaze towards Leo, who's already got his eyes on her. "So? Are you gonna tell me what's been going on?" 💙 'Sigh.' "You're not gonna stop asking, are you?" "You know me so well." The young woman forces a smile on her face before crossing her arms, her foot impatiently tapping against the ground. "I'll wait as long as it takes for an answer."
