"If you're gonna press charges, just press charges." "And you still owe her a phone call." "I don't owe anybody anything until you tell me where those turtle things came from." "From New Hampshire." "Wow~" Chief Vincent exhales in disbelief. "You're actually an even a bigger loser than I thought." She knocks on the door and leaves as someone opens it. Casey's jaw clenches as he steps away from the door before leaning against the furthest table. Everyone has always seen Casey Jones as a run down cop who will never be anything more than a run down cop. But they don't see the fire that burns in his eyes when he's doing what he loves. They don't care if he makes it or not. But he can; And he will.

"Don't worry about her, Casey. She's just trying to get under your skin." "Nah, she's right. Been hearing that my whole life. You know, I've only ever really had one goal. I wanted to make detective in the New York City Police Department. I wanted to put criminals away, not just keep them in cages. But working corrections, you do learn two good things. One, justice comes in all shapes and sizes. And two, it's way easier to pick a cop's pocket than you might think." April grins as Casey pulls Vincent's phone from his back pocket. He quickly tosses it to her. "Make your call."

Vern is doing-... well, Vern is doing Vern things. Everyday is different. Today includes blowing his breath into some ziplock baggies to sell... It's no wonder April and Akari didn't want to go out with him. The strange man is finishing up with a baggy when his phone starts to vibrate. His brows furrow in confusion, not expecting a call, but he ends up smiling as he sees the caller ID.

"Vern..." "O'Neil~" "Vern, listen, I need you to..." Said man continues blowing into the ziplock bag, grunting as he pulls the straw out and closes it completely. "What is that sound?" "Just a little side venture. Falcon breath. Turns out, people are willing to pay $200 a pop for a bag of my hot air." "Okay, look, forget that I asked. Casey and I are in police custody." "Shocking! Why would they want to question you? I mean, just because you broke into their headquarters." "Vern, look, I've got bigger problems than myself right now, okay? Baxter Stockman doctored the footage from T.C.R.I, but I'm betting that there's some sort of a secondary feed that will show that he's been working with Shredder and that they turned Bebop and Rocksteady into mutants." "Look, uh... what do you want from me?" "I want you to be the hero that the whole city thinks you are." April isn't afraid to speak her mind, especially when it comes to Vern. He's gotten too cocky as 'The Falcon.' He truly thinks he's untouchable and this incredible hero who saved the world. Reality check, Vern. You didn't do shit.

An elevator dings open, revealing our hero of this story. Oh wait- that's not Akari. It's just Vern. Anyways, Vern exits the elevator and tries to walk past a guard but is stopped. "Coming through." "It's a restricted area. "'Restricted?' You know, I know something that will open just about any door in this town." Vern pulls out, you guessed it, "Key to the city." "You are The Falco-" "Bah- bah- bah! You haven't earned the respect yet to say my name out loud. You want to put yourself on the path to that respect, run downstairs and grab me a mochaccino." The man nods furiously before glancing back at Vern, amazement and wonder apparent on his features, before leaving through the elevator.

"Secondary surveillance, where would you be? Come on, Vern... you were a cameraman before you got all fancy. One camera, two camera, three camera. Why isn't there a fourth... hidden camera. Bingo." Vern looks up at a clock which is hiding a camera. He stupidly grabs a swivel chair and almost falls as he struggles to stand on it. "Right on time." Vern pulls the camera from the wall to inspect the cords that are attached. He begins tugging on the wiring, pulling it right out of the drywall. He glances back before pulling the wires all the way around the room and stopping where he started. "Well... glad no one saw that." Vern sighs in relief, but of course, the camera caught everything. He flips open the little metal box before plugging in a USB, Donnie's special little tune playing to signal it's done downloading the data.
