Chpt. 13 | 恋人の慰め

{A Lover's Comfort}

𝟛𝕣𝕕 ℙ𝕖𝕣𝕤𝕠𝕟 ℙ𝕆𝕍~

             Akari is sitting alone in the corner of the lair, her mind jumbled with thoughts of how hateful Raph has been towards her since she confessed to Leo. All she wants to do is spend time with her new partner, but Raph's jealousy is truly getting out of hand.

             Leo walks into the room and immediately notices Akari sitting all by herself. He approaches her with a small smile before noticing her puffy eyes and red nose. 💙 "Hey, Tenshi, what's wrong?" "Raph's being an ass... again..." She replies, trying to hold back her tears with a heavy sigh. Leo's expression turns to one of concern for Akari and anger towards his brother. He kneels down, gently cupping her face before leaning in and kissing her softly. Her cheeks flush a pretty pink as she smiles shyly, a complete contrast to her usual chaotic and aggressive demeanor. 💙 "I know he's being mean because he's jealous... And I can't believe I'm saying this, but-... Just give him some time to adjust, okay? This is difficult for him." Akari stares into Leo's stunning blue eyes before sighing softly. "Okay," she whispers while pressing her forehead against his.

             "I just don't want to lose him... He's still my friend, ya know?" She says softly and quietly, more tears filling her eyes as her bottom lip begins to quiver. Leo gently kisses away her tears as one of his hands cup her cheek, the other pressing against the back of her neck. His fingers gently press into her skin as he continues kissing her salty cheeks. 💙 "I know, Angel, I know it's hard. But we'll get through this together, okay?" Leo's voice is smooth and laced with emotion, his eyes focused on Akari's face. His eyes slowly move across her soft features before stopping on her plump lips. He rubs his thumb across her bottom lip before leaning in to kiss her again. "Leo~" Akari whispers breathlessly between kisses as her arms wrap around his neck. One of his hands stay on the back of her neck, pulling her lips closer to his, as his other hand slowly moves down her spine, causing her to shiver in delight. 💙 "I'm right here, sweetheart," he mumbles before pressing his lips against hers again. Their lips press together in a heated yet loving kiss as they cling to each other. This moment is perfect, and they don't want it to end. But something always seems to ruin the best moments.

             ❤️ "Can you guys suck faces somewhere else? For fucks sake-" Raph grunts in disgust and jealousy as he and the other two brothers enter the lair. Akari blushes and hides her face in Leo's chest as he glares at Raph. 💙 "What's your problem, Raph?" ❤️ "No one wants to see you two practically fuck in here. You have a goddamn room for a reason," he growls, his anger bubbling up and pouring over the edge. Leo growls back in return as he stands up and approaches Raph rather quickly. Akari, Donnie, and Mikey watch on in both concern and shock, not liking where this is going. 💙 "I'll do whatever the hell I want with my girlfriend, so mind your damn business." "Leo-" ❤️ "Yeah?! Well I ain't the only one who's been complainin' about it! Ask Mikey and Donnie! They hate it too!" Donnie rubs the back of his neck, a guilty expression on his face as Mikey chuckles nervously, an awkward smile etching onto his lips.

             "Really? It bothers you guys too?" Akari questions quietly, her voice sounding strained as more emotions hit her like a semi truck. Donnie and Mikey look down at her with guilty and compassionate expressions, already feeling bad for making her even more upset. "I'm sorry." Her voice is small as she stands up, her vulnerable side showing itself again as she quickly leaves the main area to go to her room. 💙 "Akari!" 💜 "Wait-!" 🧡 "Please wait!" ❤️ "..." Raph's angry exterior melts away as he watches Akari try and hide her sadness from them. He hates himself for treating her like this, but he can't help it. He's always been stubborn, and he really did love Akari... He still does.
