A/N I finally found some inspiration for this story!! I'm so sorry that it's been so long!
(Y/n) raced inside fearing the worst. She slammed the door behind her and throwing open the bedroom door. She froze in her tracks upon seeing what looked like a second Ghostface looming over Billy. The injured man looked wide eyed at the woman as she grabbed the nearest item that could be used as a blunt force weapon.
"Woah Woah Woah, slow down there killer. I know him" Billy said, holding his hands up, wincing. The second Ghostface turned trying to remove his mask as fast as possible seeing the woman posed to attack. "I'm Stu! Don't hurt me.... I'm far too sensitive." Stu said trying to seem as non threatening as possible. Billy chuckled at his friend and accomplices' reaction.
"Stu this is the woman that saved my life." He gestured to (y/n). "He thought I had been kidnapped."
"You dickhead! I thought you got your ass killed." She nearly yelled, pinching the bridge of her nose in annoyance. "Aww so you do worry about me." He replied, batting his eyelashes.
"Hell no, I just didn't want my hard work to be for nothing." She retorted. Stu shivered "Did it just start snowing? Cause that was cold." (y/n) set down the metal candle holder in her hand and turned to face Stu. "How did you even find him here?" She asked.
Stu smiled replying "Natural born instinct and a psychic link to my best of buds." He looked very proud of himself. The doctor put a hand on her hip and looked at Billy for a real answer. "I called him using your landline." He said, killing Stu's smile and confident glow. He pouted, crossing his arms like a young child. (Y/n) ignored the pouting man and sighed, rubbing her eyes in frustration. "As long as you're here you are going to make yourself useful. In the closet there's a metal stand. Set it up next to the bed near his head." She ordered walking to the door to get her discarded bag. "You're putting me to work?" Stu whined.
She poked her head back into the room "Doit or I'll give you a wound to match your best buds." She threatened before leaving.
"What a bitch." The second ghostface mumbled getting the I.V. stand from the closet not wanting to find out if that threat held weight. Billy only chuckled. The woman set up the I.V bag and expertly inserted the needle into Billy's arm. For her, placing IVs was routine, she had done this nearly everyday since her residency. The injured man laying on the bed took note at how easily she administered IV and a dose of morphine.
Billy looked up at the lady as the morphine had begun to kick in. "So you a nurse or something?" He asked, looking back at the needle in his vein. "I'm a doctor actually" She responded while checking the placement of the needle and that the IV bag was running correctly. "Listen, you lost a lot of blood and it's going to take a while for your body to replace all of it. You need to stay on bedrest for a few more days at the least and if you need to get up ask Stu or I for help otherwise I'll have to place a catheter. I'm a little impressed that you made it as far as you did without passing out from the blood loss."
He was slightly taken aback from her switch into the doctor bedside manner. Clearly she knew what she was doing. It only raised more questions as to why a doctor would take in a serial killer. Hippocratic oath maybe?
