Ding! Ding! Her phone notifications woke her up against her will. She groans, blindly grabbing for the infernal dinging device. Tiredly, she looked at the way too bright of a screen. The brightness made her wince as she tried to read the texts.

"oooooOOoooo you're late" -Chase

"Tell me it isn't true!" -Chase

"YOU'RE ABANDONING ME WITH THESE HEATHENS?!?" -Chase

"AND YOU DIDN'T TELL ME???" -Chase

"How long...." -Chase

"What am I going to do...talk to Foreman? I'll die" -Chase

" Are you alive" -Chase

"Call me... maybe....unless you're dead. Then I guess Ouija me" -Chase

She rolled her eyes at how dramatic her work friend could be. Against her better judgment she decided to respond to the man.

"Foreman isn't that bad. Be nice for once." - (y/n)

"I'm just spending the next couple days with the puppy. He won't be here after that." -(y/n)

"Is he dying?!?" -Chase responded almost immediately

"No, he'll be going home" -(y/n)

"But... but I haven't met him yet!" -Chase

"Oh well" -(y/n)

With that she muted the conversation, setting the phone down she rubbed the sleep out of her eyes. This would probably come back to bite her in the ass, but she didn't care at this moment. The doctor was exhausted and really wanted to spend the day in bed, but there were two puppies in her house that needed food. Reluctantly, she pulled herself out of bed and put on comfy lounge clothes for the day. After (y/n) did a few morning self-care and hygiene things, she then made her way to the kitchen to make breakfast for the three of them.

Stu sat up from his makeshift bed on the living room couch. He sniffed the air and smiled. In a sing-song voice he said, "I smell breakfast!" His goofy smile had spread further across his face. Upon seeing his smile mixed with his messy hair made the doctor smile a little.

"Yes, you do. I'm making bacon, eggs, and (fav/breakfast)." She responded to him. The man hopped off of the couch and sat at the kitchen table. His smile faltered a little as a thought crossed his mind. This didn't go unnoticed by the woman. She tilted her head and looked at him curiously. "What's on your mind?" She said hoping he would give a truthful answer. The man played with his hands for a moment thinking.

"Ya know, Billy and I really like it here. Are you sure we have to leave when he's better?" He asked. His voice and demeanor resembled that of a child asking if they can stay at grandma's house for a little longer. He had those big puppy dog eyes he does. Calling them puppies was definitely the right choice she thought as she sighed.

"Yes, but you can always visit. Don't tell Billy but I'm going to miss you guys being here. I've enjoyed the company." She said while plating food for Stu and setting it in front of him. The killer's goofy smile turned even goofier, if that was possible.

"Awwwwwww you looove us" He said happily. This made her roll her eyes at him.

"I didn't say that and you are both still a pain in my ass. I've never met two people more accident prone." She replied. Stu let out an "uh-huh" as he watched the doctor walk to the guest room. She knocked gently as she opened the door. Billy was peacefully asleep in bed, his lean form nestled under the covers. His brown hair was messy, strands had fallen onto his face in the night. The doctor took a moment to take in the mans sleeping self. He was handsome, there was no denying that. 'It could be so easy to just let him stay. To just move him in. Hell, they could both move in. All I'd need to do is put another bed in the guest room....or move Billy into my own room' She thought. She shook her head in hopes of erasing that last part of her thought.

"Wakey, wakey eggs and bacy" She said just loud enough to wake the slumbering murderer. The man shot up to a sitting position, slightly panicked. Pain ripped through his body and a groan slipped from his lips. The doctor sighed sadly knowing that he reacts that way for a reason. "Come on in, I made breakfast." She continued. Before she left, she made sure to check his wounds in case his sudden actions caused harm. (Y/n) closed the door as she left so he could have privacy to change.

Stu couldn't help but spot the mischievous smirk on the doctor's face as she plated food for Billy. His face morphed into a sinisterly curious smile. He watched carefully as the doctor counted down from ten under her breath. His eyebrow raised and at five he started to ask "what are", his words were cut off by an angry yell from the guest room. A giggle came from their host. Stu was even more confused and curious now. He was about to ask what it was all about when his question was answered by Billy storming in wearing a light pink t-shirt, boxers, and light pink socks. Laughter erupted from the doctor and Stu at the sight before them. Billy's pouting scowl deepened at the laughter. Something dark in him took hold. "What the actual hell!" He yelled as he grabbed the doctor by her throat. His voice was darker than normal and his eyes seemed less human. He was still a cold hearted killer, that was something (y/n) needed to remember.

She continued to giggle despite the man's tight grip, she knew that she could take him down if needed. She would have several ways to make him back down whether it be using his wound against him or using her femininity. She ran through scenarios in her head like looking in his eyes and saying something sexual or loving or she could punch his wound. His grip tightened.

"Don't fucking laugh at me." He growled, Stu was trying to talk his partner in crime down. Stu was anxious and a little frightened, he knows what Billy is capable of. Noticing the frantic Stu and that Billy was quickly losing it she let out a strained sigh and jabbed her palm into Billy's wound. It was still very tender and the pain made the man drop to the ground. Stu looked at the doctor in shock, his mouth hung open. She looked down at the killer with a blank stare. It creeped Stu out how she could go from a giggling mess to stone cold in the blink of an eye.

"Holy shit! You're like the Bride in Kill Bill!" He exclaimed. She crossed her arms over her chest and shook her head at Billy "dumbass" is all she said to the killer that was still curled up on the ground groaning in pain.

"Get your ass off the ground and into the chair so you can eat." She said in a stern tone. The man muttered "bitch" under his breath looking up at her. She rolled her eyes and replied "Shut up. It wasn't hard enough to do any damage, it's just aggravated. So I'll say it one more time. Get your ass off the ground and eat your breakfast." Her tone was sharp and cold. She knew she had to show him that in this house he is not in control. Maybe now he'll see that attacking his doctor wasn't a smart idea.

Stu helped Billy off the ground and into a chair at the table. The brunette man still held his wound as pain coursed through the area. He glared at (y/n) as she set a plate in front of him.

"All of that over some socks and shirts" She scoffed. Stu looked at his friend with concerned eyes.

"It was pretty extreme dude" He chimed in as Billy continued to glare at the woman who saved his life.

"Why the fuck are you even home? Shouldn't you be at work?" He spat at her. His anger still raged in his body. He couldn't stand that she bested him and didn't crumble under his actions.

"Usually, but I'm taking the week off to spend it with you two." She said casually, she had gone back to her normal friendly demeanor. This made the killer's heart skip a beat despite his anger.
