Awkward. It's awkward to even be standing next to Yoongi. Jimin puts on a troubled smile as the band waits in BigHit Entertainment's underground garage in the late evening for the car that will take them to the airport.
His best friend, Taehyung, is not with them. He will join the rest of the band later. Jimin is saddened by the thought of not having his friend by his side. Only Taehyung has the ability to understand Jimin without words and provide support in difficult situations like this.
'Tae is a magician,' Jimin admires him, secretly lost in thought as he waits to board the minibus whose side door is about to open.
Under no circumstances does he want to sit next to Yoongi on the ride to the airport; he wouldn't be able to stand it. Not without Tae by his side. So Jimin waits for Jungkook to get in, so that he can sit next to the youngest. After Taehyung, only Jungkook can cheer him up and distract him from his thoughts. With the easy-going Jungkook, he can fool around and thus forget his worries for the moment.
On the way to the airport, the mood of the band is very boisterous and cheerful. They all sing along as Hobi plays one song after the next on Namjoon's Bluetooth speaker.
When the first notes of the next song are played, Jimin's face gets all hot and his cheeks start to tingle. He knows that beat too well. His excitement grows as he remembers how good it felt listening to it for the first time. But when he notices the first words of the song's lyrics, he suddenly feels dizzy.
Jimin is painfully reminded that Yoongi changed the lyrics to his song 'Seesaw' just days after he played the original version to Jimin.
Fortunately, a buzzing noise makes its way into Jimin's ears, so he doesn't have to endure this new, much darker version.
