Yoongi thinks about how this new situation would change everything in their lives from now on. Butterflies spread through his body as he grins and thinks about it, knowing that Jimin is resting peacefully in his arms.

"Jiminie," he whispers softly into the younger's ear. "Baby, are you awake?" The younger man's answer is delayed.

"Mhh," he answers weakly, still burying his face deep in Yoongi's chest. The elder gently strokes the back of his head and finally asks, "How do we tell the others?"

Suddenly, Jimin stiffens in Yoongi's embrace. He can feel Jimin's heavy heartbeat and it scares him so much that he immediately stops caressing him.

"What's wrong, did I say something wrong?" Yoongi asks, startled. Jimin pulls away and looks at him with a mixture of fear and anger.

"There is no way," Jimin hesitates for a bit, before he continues in a monotone voice, "It wasn't even something special." Yoongi feels a painful stab in his chest when he hears Jimin's harsh words. Tears start to form in his eyes and he suddenly feels like his world is crumbling around him.

Jimin is full of regret and it shows on his face.

"You won't tell the others about this," the younger man says adamantly.

Yoongi watches him with a pained expression as he quickly gets up, gathers his clothes and disappears into the bathroom.

Yoongi is paralyzed, the only movement he can make is in his head. He no longer understands the world. They had a perfect night together. Sure, there was alcohol involved, and not a little; but that was a while ago, they are already sober again. Yoongi tries to remember if he pushed Jimin to do more than he wanted to. But then he remembers that Jimin often took the lead himself.

Yoongi doesn't understand what is happening and remains motionless in his original position on the bed when Jimin comes out of the bathroom and rushes out of the hotel room. The loud slam of the door as it closes echoes in Yoongi's ears for a long time.

---

Tears stream down Jimin's face; he can barely breathe. Shaken, he opens his hotel room and leans against the door from the inside until it closes, sliding along it to the floor.

"Fuck, fuck, fuck," Jimin sobs to himself, still having trouble breathing.

Jimin still has the picture of Yoongi's face distorted by pain in front of his eyes. He doesn't want that, he doesn't mean to hurt him, especially after this night. Jimin panicked when Yoongi talked about revealing their affection to the others. Jimin is not ready for that. After all, he couldn't even process what happened himself. It was like a warm, tingling rush. He enjoyed the attention, the loving tenderness and of course the hot passion between them. He could have gone on like this forever, interrupted only by little naps, snuggled up against Yoongi's warm, spicy-smelling body.

For years, he had imagined what it would be like to be as close to Yoongi as he was tonight. But now that Yoongi seems to want more than they've both shared tonight, Jimin feels overwhelmed. The first thing that came to his mind when he heard Yoongi's question was how the rest of the group would react. He can't jeopardize his special relationship with his friends, he needs them to live. Jimin sobs uncontrollably.
