(A.N. WILL EDIT THIS!)
It took Hiro a while for him to get to your place, but he eventually did within a space of 15 minutes, courtesy of Tadashi riding Aunt Cass's truck all the way. Thanking his brother, he got off and was surprised to see the door open, your face peeking out.
"(Y/N)!" he called out, running over to you as fast as his legs could carry him. Even though he got a little more fit from the last time, he was still panting a bit by the time he reached you.
You greeted him quickly with a simple "hello" and let him in, immediately pulling the note out from your pocket and handing it to him. "This was on my doorstep just a few moments ago," you simply told him, tears threatening to spill onto your cheeks.
Hiro nodded as he unfolded the note and read the message silently, his eyes widening when he reached the end. Then he approached you and gave you a gentle hug, and almost in that instant all the tears began to spill as you cried on Hiro's sweater, burying your face into his shoulder, just as you have the very first time you met him and told him about your father.
"Shh...(Y/N)..." Hiro whispered softly in your ear. "It'll be okay."
"How do you know?" you retorted weakly, choking on tears. "He's all I have left. To see my father and mother gone is already torturous enough. Now with him gone...who would I have left? And why put the blame on me?"
Hiro nodded as he kept holding on to you, scared that you would break. Then he looked at the note again, and his eyes narrowed in suspicion. "Hang on, (Y/N)...take a look at this. Isn't that...isn't that where Sean said he was from?" he asked you, pointing to the words New Pyongyang.
You took the paper from him and nodded. "Yeah. He did mention it wasn't the best place on earth, right? Training in discipline and all that. But somehow I'm thinking this place has a bit more than just that."
"You're right," Hiro confirmed, letting go of you just to grab some notes from his bag. "I did do a bit of research on New Pyongyang. Sean was right-it's on the other side of the country. Literally. And then the name...Pyongyang..."
"It was originally the name of the capital of North Korea," you blurted out. "At least that's what I've learned from studying maps quite a bit."
"But wasn't Korea...it was, right?" Hiro asked uncertainly as he took off his shoes. "After the Korean war the country was divided-one was super antisocial, one was super social? Or something like that?"
"North Korea was antisocial," you said, crossing over to the kitchen and grabbing two glasses, pouring them both with water. "South Korea became a republic, I think." You offered a glass of water to Hiro. "Water?"
"Thanks," Hiro said, taking the glass and sipping from it. "And everyone is putting the blame on you...or is it just the people who wrote the note?"
"That's the problem," you said. "The last thing I want is for the people who I thought had my back to turn their back ON me, like I couldn't be trusted."
Just as those words left your mouth, you got several text messages from Melanie, Sean, and most of the gang.
"That's funny," you thought. "I don't recall giving Sean my number...did I?"
Quickly you went through all the messages.
Melanie: I can't believe you, (Y/N). How could you kidnap your own guardian? Why did you do it? This is outrageous. He's your only family left! What DID he ever do to you? You know what, we're over, (Y/N). Forget trying to talk to me.
