Just a spoiler and a head's up: someone WILL die in this chapter. Stay tuned to see who it will be.

"AFTER HER!" you heard Gogo cry as you disappeared around a corner, heart pounding and hair flying behind your helmet. You didn't care about anything else right now--all you heard was Mr. Lacitier's anguished scream as you ran in the direction of his scream, unaware of the others following you at all. You've never felt this scared before in your life, and it terrified you--even more so than the time Trudy broke into the police station, more than when Callaghan shot you, or even when you had that nightmare of your parents turning into demons.

This would probably top off any nightmare you ever had.

"MR. LACITIER? Where are you?" you screamed, dying for a response. A low moan from your left answered you, and you ran in that direction, shocked when you came across an open cell to see a man laying there, his flesh completely bloodied up and his eyes almost empty. His phone was lying off to one side, and his wrists were bound by handcuffs, tied to the floor.

"No," you murmured, running in, knowing it had to be Mr. Lacitier in front of you. Crouching down, you took off your helmet and your glove, and carefully laid a hand on his cheek. "Mr. Lacitier, you okay?"

Mr. Lacitier glanced up at you now, his eyes filling with tears. "It was torture," he whimpered. "He used the whip on me...and now look at me...for something I didn't do..."

Apparently he seemed to be in some kind of shock, for he didn't notice Wasabi cut away at the chains that bound him to the floor, nor did he notice Hiro cut away at the cuffs with his blade until he felt his hands slump to the side. Tears kept welling in Mr. Lacitier's eyes, and it took all your will not to cry for him too.

"But...but you said--"

"I know, but he kept torturing me every day," Mr. Lacitier finally said. "My execution is supposed to be tomorrow."

You shook your head at that. "No! That can't be possible!"

"Ah, but nothing's impossible, right?"

A cold voice interrupted your reunion with Mr. Lacitier, and you turned now to see the monster of Robert Callaghan stand before you. Instantly, you felt your hands curl themselves into fists.

"You--you MONSTER!" you screamed.

Callaghan only chuckled. "So. This is how you greet me after three long years without seeing each other once, (Y/N)? Is this how you treat your enemy?"

"Me? Treat you, as the enemy?" You felt yourself steaming. "I don't care if the world is ending! You killed my parents! And I don't think there's any reason to be treating you with respect. How're your followers doing? Oh, I'm surprised you don't have any."

Callaghan's face now looked like he's swallowed a lemon. "Pathetic," he muttered, his eyes narrowing even further if they can.

"Yeah. You would dare hurt him to this state, wouldn't you? That's pathetic," you shot back. "You lying low for the last three years hoping that this heist you pulled would freak the hell out of me? Hell, it did. But here's something I would never admit to you. I have friends behind me. I can fight with an army, and in the end, you would lose. For family isn't only bound by blood. Sure, my parents are dead, but friends can give you more. So even if you win this battle, my friends will still be able to fight you."

"But do you think they can do that? Look at them," Callaghan said, and you turned in horror to see everyone, including Hiro, bound by the spiked snakes that you had to fight through earlier, rising behind him, all of their helmets off and laying carelessly on the ground. You covered your mouth immediately to stifle a scream.
