As the night wore on, the party was in full swing, and people from all houses started to trickle into the common room. A mix of muggle music and wizarding music was playing loudly, echoing around the room and adding to the lively atmosphere. I found myself on a comfortable couch, nestled between Sirius and Remus. My head rested on Sirius's shoulder, and my feet were stretched across Remus's lap.

"I can't believe we're already in sixth year," Remus said, taking a sip of his drink. "Time is flying by."

"I know," I replied. "It feels like we were just starting Hogwarts yesterday."

Sirius chuckled, "I remember the first time I introduced you to Moony and Prongs. You were so quiet, Bugs."

I rolled my eyes, "I was just nervous. You guys were so loud and outgoing."

"You're not exactly the life of the party now either," Remus teased.

I nudged him playfully, "Hey, I'm having fun in my own way. Plus, someone has to keep you guys grounded."

Sirius grinned, "And we wouldn't have it any other way."

"That's what I thought," I smirked.

I sat up, rising to my feet. "I'm going to get drunk and dance. Come with me," I said to Sirius, holding my hand out for him to grab.

Sirius grinned and replied, "Lead the way, my lady."

As I pulled Sirius up from the couch, Remus spoke up, "Careful, Buggy, Don't get too drunk."

I turned to him and grinned mischievously, "No promises, Moons I think I've earned it."

Once we had our drinks in hand, we started to dance to the lively music, letting loose and enjoying the party. As the night went on, more and more people arrived, and the party got wilder.

As I danced with Sirius, he leaned in and whispered in my ear, "You know, you look beautiful tonight."

My cheeks flushed with warmth, and I wasn't sure if it was the alcohol or his compliment. "Thank you, love. You look great yourself," I said, standing on my toes to give him a quick kiss.

He wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me close and kissing me again.

As we kissed, the world around us seemed to fade away, leaving just the two of us in our own little bubble. I lost track of time, only realizing how long we had been kissing when we heard a loud cheer from the crowd.

Looking around, I saw that we had become the center of attention, with everyone clapping and cheering us on. Sirius and I both laughed, feeling a little embarrassed but also happy that we were surrounded by such supportive friends.

Eventually, we separated, but Sirius kept his arms around me, resting his forehead against mine.

"We can stay like this forever," he whispered, and I couldn't help but smile.

"I wish we could," I replied

Sirius squeezed me tighter, his hands rubbing small circles on my back. "We'll have plenty more moments like this," he said, his voice soft and reassuring.

I smiled up at him, feeling a sense of comfort and security in his embrace. "I hope so," I replied.

After a few more moments of silence, I gently broke away from our embrace. "I need to get some fresh air, I'll be back in a few minutes," I said, trying to hide the uneasiness in my voice.

Sirius looked at me with concern. "Are you sure you're okay?"

I nodded, offering him a small smile. "Yes, I just need some time alone."
