Sirius and I walked up the path towards the whomping willow, the sun had already begun to set behind the castle. We walked in an awkward silence the majority of the way, with the willow right in front of us, quick footsteps approached us from behind.

BOOM

CRACKLE..POP

Crackle.. pop

An explosion cause me and Sirius to fall straight to the ground, he held me tightly while the footsteps were now followed by chaotic laughter. I looked up, fireworks were still lingering in the air. My eyes snapped over to James who was laughing with his hands on his knees, occasionally wiping a tear from his eye.

Sirius looked over, then let out a short laugh, "Prongs you fucking git! I'm gonna kill you!" Sirius was already at him, pushing him playfully to the ground.

James laughed even harder as Sirius tackled him, the two of them rolling around on the ground, trying to pin each other down. I placed my hand over my mouth and silently laughed as the two boys grunted. Finally, Sirius had James pinned. His legs were wrapped around James's, and his arms were tightly wrapped around James's arms and neck. Sirius called out to James as he struggled, "Say mercy, Prongs!" He laughed, starting to run out of breath.

James continued to struggle against Sirius's hold, but it was no use. He was completely at Sirius's mercy. Finally, while gasping for air. "Mercy, mercy!" he shouted, and Sirius released him, rolling off to the side.

I finally stood up, dusting off my skirt. Sirius stood up and offered a hand to James, who took it pulling himself up. "Loser wrestles Bugs?"James asks, still catching his breath.

I scoffed, "Are you a glutton for pain?" I asked, pulling my wand out of my bag and pointing it towards the large tree. "Immobulus," I muttered before placing my wand back into my bag.

I walked closer to the tunnel entrance, throwing my bag down the hole. I turned to the boys and smirked. "I bet I can beat both of you down there."

"You're on!" The two practically said in unison.

I walked down to them and drew a line in the dirt with my foot, then stood behind it. Sirius stood beside me, and James on my other side. "Ready, set... GO!" I shouted, before quickly transforming into my rabbit animagus.

"That's cheating!" James yelled out as I ran off.

I hopped as fast as my little legs would go and jumped straight down the hole. I could hear James and Sirius following behind me as I transformed back. I placed my hands on my knees and caught my breath.

"That was absolutely not fair!" Sirius said, placing a hand on my back, also still panting.

I laughed. "It's absolutely fair," I mocked him. "I trick you two with it EVERY TIME!"

He scoffed, and James chuckled. "She does though," he added.

I picked up my bag and leaned over, giving Sirius a peck on the cheek. "You can get me back later," I whispered in his ear.

He chuckled, a smirk growing on his face. "Oh, I will," he nudged me.

James made an exaggerated gag, and we all started walking down the dark tunnel that connected to the Shrieking Shack. I slowly approached the door to the shack, opening it. My eyes immediately shot to a very sweaty Remus, who smiled when his eyes caught mine.

"How are you feeling, Moony?" I asked softly, walking towards him, digging in my bag.

"I feel splendid, Buggy," he said, still smiling ear to ear.

I pulled out a small chocolate, the one with caramel in the center, and handed it to him. "Eat some chocolate, it'll make you feel better," I smiled, repeating what he always tells me.

Sirius and James' heads whipped towards the door, and I could hear faint stumbling coming down the tunnel. My eyes immediately shot towards Sirius, and my eyes narrowed. "That better not be-," I started. He lifted his finger to his lips, then, while looking at James, he cocked his head at the door. The two slowly made their way to the door and disappeared through it.

A few moments passed, and the look Remus was giving me told me that Sirius still hadn't filled him in on his brilliant idea. I mouthed, "I'll tell you later."

As the muffled thuds and grunts started to fade, I slowly made my way to sit beside Remus, letting out an irritated huff. With my voice at a soft whisper, I started, "Moony, you can't-"

But before I could say another word, Sirius walked in, with James following behind him muttering under his breath. James gave Sirius a hard smack to the back of the head. "I thought you handled it?!" he said almost shouting.

"Handle what?" Remus asked still just as confused.

Sirius's face went pale, he rubbed the back of his head where James had hit him. "Moons I uh-" he started but couldn't finish.

"Sirius you better tell him. Or I will." I said bluntly, I gave Remus a glance, his eyes were looking at Sirius. He rose to his feet, dusting off his pants.

"Padfoot?" Remus pleaded with him, almost as a warning.

"Moony, I- I didn't mean anything by it," Sirius stammered. "It was just meant to be harmless," the word rolled right off his tongue, and it infuriated Remus. As soon as it came out, Remus grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and pushed him against the door.

"Oh, shit," I muttered under my breath as I moved towards them. James stepped in front of me and held me back.

"Let him, Sirius needs to learn," James said, turning his head and opening my view back at the two.

Sirius kept his hands at his sides while Remus held his wand pointed at him. "What the fuck did you do, Sirius?" Remus said through his teeth.

"I told Severus how to get down here," Sirius finally spat out.

Remus let out a chuckle and leaned his head back. "You what?" he asked sharply.

"I told-" Sirius started, before Remus quickly cut him off. "No, no. I know WHAT you did, but where in that empty head of yours did you believe it would be a wise idea to lure Severus into a situation where he would most certainly be killed!?" His voice rose with every word that came out. He dropped his wand, and it landed on the ground with a thud. He cocked his hand back and landed a punch straight to Sirius's nose.

He lifted his hands to his nose, looking down at the blood. "I deserve that," he muttered. Remus was still fuming, but before he could say anything else, his body jerked, his eyes widened, and his breathing became raspy. He couldn't formulate a word and frantically motioned at the door with his hand. Sirius and I transformed into our animagus forms and hurried out of the shack. James transformed as soon as he stepped out of the door. We all ran away from the shack, heading towards the edge of the forest.

We waited under the light of the full moon as Remus transformed. Sirius was panting like a... well, like a dog. James laid down in the long grass, with his legs resting under him. I sat nuzzled under Sirius's front legs as he stood, waiting for Remus to emerge.
