Splatoon: The Creatures

(MS) Chapter 12

All I can say is I'm sorry. The last time I wrote in this was back in March. All I want to say is sorry. I've reread through all the previous chapters, and that's given me the motivation to write again. I'm not sure how long each chapter is going to take. Writing at 11 PM. every day is really hard. Though, Now that it's summer I got a lot of time on my hands. Sorry if the writing style is different if you know you know.

You, Aura, and Nebula make your way out of Alterna. You make it up to the crater once more. You walk over to the jeep where you see Shiver in the driver's seat visibly angry.

Shiver: "Damn it! I could've easily beat her! If Master Mega had just- UGHH!!! I hate losing! I need to get stronger..."

You place a hand on Shiver's back. She looks up at you.

Y/N: " Hey, don't worry about it. You'll have plenty more opportunities to beat her."

Shiver sighs.

Shiver: "I guess... I just know I could've beaten her! If it wasn't for her stupid armor..."

You hear a grunting noise in the back of the car. Frye begins to wake up.

Frye: "Oh geez... What happened? My head hurts..."

Shiver: "You're awake! Oh, thank cod!"

You watch as Shiver hugs Frye tightly. Big Man begins to pat Frye's head.

Frye: "What happened... All I remember was you on the ground, and then I felt something hit my head, and I woke up here."

Shiver: "Well... We survived. That's all you need to know right now."

Frye lays on Big Man.

Frye: "Let's get home then. My head hurts like hell..."

You look at Nebula as she goes over to Frye. She places both hands on her head.

Frye: "What are you doing? Wait... the pains gone! D-Did you do that?!"

Nebula smiles. She sits in the back with Big Man and Frye, barely squeezing together. Shiver begins to drive you home. You look out the window as you see the desert. The Eiffel Tower, upside down in the distance. All of a sudden, Shiver stops the car. You look out the windshield to see a octoling on the floor with visible fresh wounds. They have sand in between the wounds and are sunburnt horribly.

Shiver: "Is that a person?!?"

Y/N: "God... What happened to them?"

Shiver reaches to the back of the car and grabs her splatana stamper. You and Shiver exit the car to go look at the person. You examine their breathing. They're breathing but just barely in heavy sharp breaths. Shiver charges her splatana stamper.

Shiver: "I've been in the Splatlands long enough to know that this is definitely a trap."

Y/N: "She seems genuinely hurt though."

You see Shiver staring intensely at the octoling. A blue light comes out from the octoling's pocket.

Shiver: "Is that a phone?"

You approach the octoling and check its pockets. It has a phone which is miraculously unlocked. It has a wallpaper of said octoling and... Off The Hook?

Shiver: "I don't mean to be nosy, but... I think you should check the texts or something. Maybe they're hiding something!"

Y/N: "Seriously? You want to go through her phone?"

Shiver: "Well... yea."

Aura comes out of the car. He walks over to the Octoling.

Aura: "What's happened to her?"
