I can't believe I haven't written JakeHoon yet. They are one of my favorites.

Jake was a sucker for tension.

He was a sucker for tension, but nobody really knew that. Nobody knew that, especially his best friend.

He didn't know the way Jake would stare at him as if he wanted to devour every single part of him. He didn't know how much it riled Jake up when the other put their hand on his thigh.

Jake was a sucker for tension, and Sunghoon was bringing him to the edge.

Jake was embarrased when he would just look at Sunghoon and want to bend him over. He would get shy when the younger would make eye contact with him just as the dirtiest thought would enter his brain.

if he was being completely honest, half of the moments that feel so tense, are because Jake does something.

Jake puts his hand on the younger's leg, accidentally entwines their hands together in some way that makes it look natural, or just the way he would get so incredibly lost in Sunghoon's gaze, or looking at his lips.

"Jake, are you ready?" Sunghoon asked after setting the phone up in front of them. The two of them were sitting in the car waiting for the manager who was gonna be a while.

Jake put his hood up and snuggled more into the fabric before nodding once. "Yup," he answered, watching Sunghoon's thumb hover over the Live button.

Sunghoon didn't press it right away, and when Jake glanced over to him he realized the younger's eyes were already on him.

Jake didn't look away, and he didn't say anything. He just let the blood rush to his ears as he made such intense eye contact with his best friend.

This wasn't the first time it had happened, Sunghoon getting distracted by something Jake did, and every time the Australian boy would take advantage of it and wouldn't back down.

After almost thirty seconds, Sunghoon blinked before slightly shaking his head.

He clicked Live, and instantly people were joining the stream and flooding the chat.

Neither of the two had said anything yet, both reading the comments on the screen. Well, Jake was trying to read the comments but his mind was just focused on Sunghoon's gaze that ended only moments ago.

Eventually Sunghoon read a comment, and conversation flowed smoothly from there. But for both of them, they felt that underlying tension from earlier. Sunghoon knew there was a permanent blush on his cheeks, and he played it off as being cold.

Jake felt the swarm of butterflies in his stomach that refused to calm down, but he loved it.

In fact, he made it his mission to be a little extra 'flirty' and cute.

Jake pursed his lips slightly when he answered Sunghoon's question in almost a cute tone, and he almost regretted it as soon as he did it.

He almost regretted it, but when Sunghoon's neck practically snapped in his direction, the two were making almost intense eye contact. Again.

Jake made sure to glance once at the boy's lips before looking back to the phone.

Shit, Sunghoon muttered to himself in his head. He licked his lips with a slight smirk on his face before returning his gaze to the phone.
