Jay was not the best at showing affection to his members.

That's not true.. Jay could cuddle up to Jungwon just fine. He could give Sunoo all the head pats in the world, and he will always play with Riki whenever the maknae asks him to.

So he knows how to show affection, but when it comes to his 02 members, Jay just feels awkward when it comes to showing his gratitude for them.

Ever since the beginning of Enhypen, and even before that, Jay loved the fact that he was so close to two guys almost the same age as him, and it always made him feel so much at ease knowing that Jake and Sunghoon would always be there for him. He was so excited he had two 'bros' when they were all announced to debut, and the smile that lit up his face was probably one of the biggest he's had when he heard Sunghoon's and Jake's names called.

Jay wasn't awkward then, though. He was just the same to his 02 friends as he was to the maknae line. He was clingy and cute to them, and looked after them just as much.

Until Jay was lost in his thoughts one day.

They were having dance practice and the rest of the members were sitting against the mirror while Jake and Sunghoon practiced a small duo dance they had together. It required them to keep their gazes sharp and sultry, while their bodies continued grazing one another in an agonizingly tender way.

That's when Jay lost his breath as he watched his best friends dance together, his eyes glued to their torsos, their arms, their faces, pretty much anywhere on their bodies.

And they looked good.

Jay was snapped out of it when the instructor clapped his hands together, making Jay jolt at the sudden noise and ignored Heeseung laughing from beside him.

Jay tried his best to look normal, completely unaffected as he took a long drink of his water, but he almost choked when a breathless Sunghoon sat down beside him.

"Jay-ah, can I have some?" He asked, and Jay didn't say a word, but he nodded his head and handed Sunghoon his bottle.

And of course, Jay couldn't look away when Sunghoon tilted his head back, exposing his throat. The oldest 02 watched the youngest's adam's apple bob as sweat trickled down his neck.

'Fuck Park Jongseong, snap out of it,' Jay scolded himself, and he forced a smile (that looked more like a grimace) when Sunghoon handed the bottle back to him.

"Jay? Are you okay?" Sunghoon asked, noting the look on the older's face did not look appealing. He slid an inch closer to him. Jay opened his mouth to answer, but just as he was about to respond, Jake sat down in front of them.

"What's wrong? What happened?" Jake asks worriedly, and Jay tenses when hands are suddenly on his shoulders. He hates that goosebumps roll down his arms and he shivers slightly.

"Are you cold?" Sunghoon asks, and Jay once again was unable to answer before Sunghoon was leaning behind him to grab his hoodie. They didn't even let the man say a single word before they were raising his arms up and putting the hoodie over his slim body.

Sunghoon was known in their group to wear abnormally large hoodies, while Jay usually stuck with clothing that accentuated his body more. So when Jay was engulfed in the large sweatshirt, Jake and Sunghoon immediately began cooing at him.
