Sunghoon was the kind to not let anybody really rile him up. He let any negative comments he received roll off his back, turning the other cheek.

He was good at it too. He pretended to not see the assholes that would let their eyes rake over him in the school hallway, internally disgusted but outwardly confident. He just strut on by them with his hands gripping the straps of his backpack fiercefully as he resisted the urge to turn back to them and say a few choice words. 

Sunghoon took pride in the way that he composed himself. He tried his best to never let anything look out of place enough for people to find ways to make fun of him. He never wanted to give anybody direct bait to put him down. 

"Sunghoon!" He heard his best friend call from his place down the hallway. Sunghoon was currently standing at his locker, scrolling on his phone as he waited for his friend so they could go to class. He glanced up from his screen to see Jake quickly making his way closer. 

"Jakey!" Sunghoon smiles, having missed his best friend who hadn't been in school for the past couple of days because he was sick. 

Sunghoon opened his arms and Jake was quick to pull the younger boy into his own, wrapping his arms around Sunghoon as if they hadn't seen each other in years, (when Sunghoon was just at Jake's house the night before with some food and quality entertainment.. himself)! 

"How are you feeling?" Sunghoon asked softly as they pulled back, and he was quick to put his things away in his locker before walking with Jake down the hall. 

Jake opened his mouth to respond but stops for a second to cough into his arm. He looks back to Sunghoon with a sheepish smile seeing the younger with a raised eyebrow. 

"I feel much better, don't let that fool you." Jake laughed, slinging an arm around Sunghoon's shoulders who just hummed in response. 

"How has school been this week?" Jake decides to ask and Sunghoon pouts out his lips before looking up at Jake for a moment. 

"Terrible. You weren't here to protect me from our awful friends." Sunghoon tells him and Jake can't help but laugh, knowing their friends were probably teasing Sunghoon non-stop since Jake wasn't there to playfully scold them. 

"Aww, did baby get teased?" Jake teased him himself, and Sunghoon rolled his eyes before pushing the older away from him. 

"Shut up, you're so mean." Sunghoon fake pouted and Jake just ruffled his hair before the two were walking through the door to their class. 

Sunghoon bowed politely to his teacher before following Jake to the back of the room, already rolling his eyes when he sees their friends hogging up the back row. Sunoo wasn't even paying attention to the other two as Jungwon had his eyes closed, resting his head against Riki's shoulder. Jake just glared at Riki before settling down beside Jungwon. 

"Why are you stealing my boyfriend?" Jake asks Riki before picking up Jungwon's head gently to now rest it against his own shoulder. Sunghoon just rolled his eyes at Jake's blatant jealousy, sitting down beside him. 

Riki just laughs before flicking Jake on the forehead, the older cursing and rubbing the spot. "You get jealous so easily, hyung." Riki tells him before turning to Sunoo to pester him. 

Sunghoon just shook his head before glancing around the classroom. About half of the class was there by now, with there still being a few minutes before the bell actually rang for class to start.
