"You can't just barge into my workplace like this!" Cha-Young said as I placed the bag of Bungeoppang on her table

"You can't just barge into my workplace like this!" Cha-Young said as I placed the bag of Bungeoppang on her table. I rolled my eyes at her ungrateful behaviour.

"Why not?" I muttered.

"Are you not aware of the enmity between Jipuragi and Wusang?"

"Don't be a whiny bitch." I shut her up. "I should be mad at you for behaving like a brat in the courthouse, but here I am, bringing you Bungeoppang. What you keep doing to your father isn't cool, Cha-Young, you don't know how upset he is."

She let out a forced laugh. "Oh, so he sent you here?"

"I'm not a fucking pigeon for delivering messages. Hong samchon is like a father figure to me. I saw that he was upset because of you, so I came here to ask you to apologize." I rolled my eyes in frustration but then sighed, regaining myself. "This attitude will earn you nothing but regret. Take my advice and sort things out with your father."

"Don't ruin my mood, Hajoon." She just waved me off.

"This is coming from someone who has no parents— cherish them while they're still here." I huffed at her stubbornness. She went silent at my words, avoiding my gaze.

"Good morning, Hajoon-a!" An enthusiastic voice came from my right and I shrieked in terror, turning towards the source of the voice that just scared me to death. Jun-woo stood there, smiling down at me like he always did.

I slapped his arm twice for scaring me like this and he laughed. "Fuck you, Jun-woo."

"Sorry." He talked in his American accent, a grin evident on his face. "What were you two talking about?"

"What does it matter to you? Mind your own business." Cha-Young scolded him for being too nosy. His face fell at her words and he nodded, looking down at his feet.

I sighed. "Don't be too harsh on him." Jun-woo smiled amusingly when I defended him. I was never one to talk between a boss and an assistant but I was already pissed right now, and I knew she was too. She was taking my anger out on Jun-woo.

"I'll do whatever I want to him. What does it matter to you?"

"Quit being so stubborn and reflect on yourself." I rolled my eyes, having enough of her attitude. I turned around to walk away but turned back to grab the pack of Bungeoppang from her table.

I walked away from her office and felt someone follow me. I did not have to look back to figure out it was Jun-woo who had started following me.

"I was in a good mood today, and she just had to ruin it." I let out through gritted teeth, knowing Jun-woo was listening. He always listens.

"Don't take it to heart, she just loses it sometimes." He threw an arm around my shoulder and pulled me to his side so that I was closer to him. It was normal for us to be this close. Ever since Cha-Young had gotten him as an assistant, he had automatically become one of my closest friends.
