"We did it." She whispered to herself, looking outside the window of the truck we were sitting in, a small smile taking over her face at the sight of the burning building. Another explosion bursted the ceiling out and she didn't even flinch, her smile only got wider as the destruction increased.
So attractive.
"I just got goosebumps." Ms. Hong said as she threw her head back on the seat, her right hand on the steering while her other hand ran through her hair. Ms. Korea chuckled in silent agreement, pushing back her hair into a ponytail that were sticking onto her sweaty neck, the sight making me want to help her do it.
"They had it coming." I spoke, clearing my throat, and she turned her head to catch me staring at her already. She nodded, giving me a satisfactory smile.
"I'm feeling really hungry though. All this hard work has got rats running around in my stomach. It'd be better once you make me some food when we get home." Ms. Korea said to me as she poked my arm.
"Of course." I replied.
"Wah, look at you guys, talking like a married couple. Keep it on the low for the single people here." The vixen named Hong Cha-Young interrupted, and we turned to see an amused look on her face. I rolled my eyes, somehow trying to cover how warm my ears felt in that moment. Even though we had normalised Ms. Hong making fantasies about our love life, it still felt embarrassing everytime she brought it up.
"Yah! Just shut up and drive. Don't make me throw you out of the window." Ms. Seo punched her shoulder, making her wince dramatically. My face was still warm and probably red from the comment, so I turned my head away from the women, my head almost out of the window. "Mr. Italy, are you okay?" I heard her ask as she rested a hand on my shoulder.
"Mhm." was the only response I gave her, showing no sign of turning back.
Why am I like this?
The rest of the ride was chaotic, with Ms. Hong accidentally forgetting the routes to Geumga Dong and Ms. Seo almost throwing up because of the heat and sweat consuming her body. After exchanging thanks you's and goodbye's with the ex-clients of Jipuragi (who had helped us in the arson we committed), we reached home.
Home.
I liked the sound of that.
I had never really grown attached to the place I lived in. It was always alright for me to move out of one place to settle into another. But Geumga Plaza had somehow started to feel like home to me. Though, I wasn't sure if it was due to the place or a certain someone who lived with me.
Ms. Seo basically jumped out of the truck, ignoring my hand that was held out for her. I cleared my throat, putting my hand away. "Gosh, it's scorching hot." She groaned, walking towards the entrance of the building. She had already taken off the clean room suit that she was wearing in the truck, so now she was just in a bunch of t-shirt and sweats, her hair bunched up in a rather messy bun.
