Friend and Foe Alike

Last time, Y/N faced off against his toughest opponent yet, in round four of the Pokemon League! Scyther seemed to have the edge with a series of slashing attacks, but Y/N proved to be sharper than his rivals. That is, until Farfetch'd was KO'd by Bellsprout! As fans rooted for this unlikely power plant, Y/N suddenly found himself in a real Poke-predicament! But, our hero had a secret surprise planned, and with only one battle left to decide the match, the massive Muk buried Bellsprout, and Y/N pulled out a victory that now carries him to the upcoming fifth round.

In the Pokemon Village, our heroes are heading back to their cabin to celebrate Y/N winning his fourth preliminary round matches. 

Misty: Hey, I'm really hungry.

Brock: We should all have a big meal to celebrate Y/N's big victory!

Y/N: And dinner's on me, because everybody in the Pokemon League eats for free!

Once they get to the cabin, Y/N's mom and Professor Oak are seen outside waiting for them. 

Lucas: Hey, son!

Crustal: Hey, sweetie!

Delia: Hi, Y/N!

Prof. Oak: Hello!

Y/N: Hi, mom and dad! Hi aunt Delia! Hi, Professor Oak!

Prof. Oak: I was quite impressed with the way you battled out there, Y/N.

Crystal: I'm so proud of you.

Lucas: Well done my boy. An apple doesn't fall away from tree.  

Delia: You have to keep your strength up while you compete, so your mom and I are making your favorite meal for you.

Y/N: You are? Nice! But where are you gonna cook around here?

Delia: *laughs* Leave that to us.

Timeskip

Later, on the tenth floor of the tallest building in the Pokemon Village, Delia and Crystal are seen cooking up a meal for Y/N. But how fast they we left the kitchen staff speechless.

Chef: Our customers, do not come here to cook.

Delia: Well, maybe they should try it. 

Crystal: Y/N! Dinner's almost ready!

Nearly everyone, who were watching by the door, sweat drops. 

Y/N: Can't wait.

Misty: This is either gonna be very good or very bad.

Later

Soon, everyone is seated for dinner, and amazed by what they see. 

Delia: Well, how does it look?

All heroes: It looks great!

And everyone digs in.

Brock: These croquettes are excellent!

Misty: No wonder the chef asked for the recipe!

Y/N: These are so good! Nobody cooks like you two.

Lucas: Slow down, Y/N. And use a napkin, huh?

Crystal: That's what I was gonna say.

Prof. Oak: You know, if you win your next battle, you'll be allowed to use up to six Pokemon per match. Have you decided which Pokemon you'll choose?

Y/N: I think I'll wait to see who I'm up against, first.

Lucas: Well, tomorrow, they decide who everybody who passed the preliminaries battles.
