The Next Day
The next day the stadium is full of people again watching the battle between Lance of the Elite Four and Indigo League champion Y/N L/N. We see Y/N already standing on a battlefield. But Lance is no where seen. As the announcer is making his opening statement, everyone goes silent as the fourth and final member of the Elite Four enters the stadium. Lance the Dragon Master. He and Y/N greet and shake hands.
Lance: Y/N, I am proud that you have gotten this far. It has been a while since anyone was able to best Agatha. I'm looking forward to our battle.
Y/N says nothing as he nods. The two trainer take their positions. The battle begins and Lance throws his Pokeball and Kingdra materialized.
Y/N: Venusaur, go! *throws Pokeball*
Lance: Hydro Pump!
Y/N: Petal Blizzard!
Both attacks hit their mark.
Lance: That's a very powerful move.
Y/N: Thank you. Now let's settle this!
Venusaur uses Trailblaze and charges at Kingdra.
Lance: Do your worst!
Kingdra uses Dragon Pulse. Venusaur powers through and hits Kingdra.
Y/N: Vine Whip!
Venusaur smack Kingdra with it's vines, knocking it out. Lance recalled Kingdra.
Lance: Charizard! *throws Pokeball*
Charizard materialized.
Y/N: Poison Jab!
Lance: Ancient Power!
Venusaur tried to hit Charizard with a poisoned vine but it was blocked by Ancient Power.
Lance: Flamethrower!
Charizard fired a powerful Flamethrower and knocked Venusaur out. Y/N recalled Venusaur
Y/N: Raichu! *throws Pokeball*
Raichu materialized.
Lance: Earthquake!
Y/N: Magnet Rise and Thunderbolt!
Raichu avoided it with Magnet Rise while firing super effective Thunderbolt at Charizard.
Y/N: Now, Volt Switch!
Raichu hit Charizard and then went back to it's Pokeball. Charizard on the other hand fainted and Lance recalled Charizard.
Lance: Aerodactyl! *throws Pokeball*
Y/N: I choose you! *throws Pokeball*
Aerodactyl and Blastoise materialized.
Lance: Dragon Breath!
Y/N: Hydro Pump!
Both attacks hit their mark.
Y/N: Ice Beam!
Ice Beam hit it mark and Aerodactyl fainted. Lance recalled Aerodactyl.
Lance: Dragonair! *throws Pokeball*
Dragonair materialized.
Y/N: Dragon Pulse!
Lance: Protect!
Dragonair protected itself from Dragon Pulse.
Lance: Thunder Wave!
The attack hit and was super effective.
Y/N: Ice Beam!
Lance: Thunderbolt!
Ice Beam missed but Thunderbolt hit it's mark and Blastoise fainted. Y/N recalled Blastoise.
Y/N: Gengar! *throws Pokeball*
Gengar materialized.
Lance: Dragon Tail!
Dragonair was about to hit Gengar, but...
Y/N: Dazzling Gleam!
It was stopped by Dazzling Gleam.
Y/N: Now Icy Wind!
Icy Wind hit and Dragonair fainted. Lance recalled Dragonair
Lance: Gyarados! *throws Pokeball*
Gyarados materialized.
Y/N: Thunder Punch!
Gengar was about to hit Gengar, but...
Lance: Dragon Tail!
Gyarados smacked it away with Dragon Tail.
Lance: Earthquake!
Gyarados then knocked Gengar out with Earthquake. Y/N recalled Gengar.
Y/N: Rhydon! *throws Pokeball*
Rhydon materialized.
Y/N: Thunder Fang!
Lance: Waterfall!
Rhydon charged but Waterfall was too effective and Rhydon fainted. Y/N recalled Rhydon.
Y/N: Raichu! *throws Pokeball*
Raichu materialized.
Lance: Earthquake, again!
Y/N: Raichu, use Thunder!
Thunder was super effective and Gyarados fainted. Lance recalled Gyarados.
Lance: Dragonite! *throws Pokeball*
Dragonite materialized.
Y/N: Volt Tackle!
Raichu hit Dragonite with it, but Dragonite didn't even flinch.
Lance: Fire Punch!
Dragonite punched Raichu away as the electric type fell unconscious. Y/N recalled Raichu.
Y/N: This is it. You all I got let to count on. Charizard! *throws Pokeball*
Charizard materialized.
Lance&Y/N: Thunder Punch!
Both Pokemon started punching each other with Thunder Punch.
Lance: Dragon Rush!
Y/N: Flame Charge!
They charged at each other, resulting in a explosion. The two flew out of the smoke cloud and flew in the air, firing Flamethrowers and Hyper Beams and Dragon Breaths at one another.
Lance: Thunderbolt!
Y/N: Block it with Rock Tomb!
This resulted in an explosion.
Y/N: Dragon Claw!
Charizard flew through the smoke cloud and hit Dragonite with it's claws.
Lance: Surf!
Y/N: Fly!
Charizard avoided the wave by flying in the air.
Lance: Aqua Jet!
Y/N: Dragon Tail!
Dragonite charged and Charizard hit it back on the ground with Dragon Tail. Charizard landed on the ground and both Pokemon were staring down at each other.
Lance: Hyper Beam!
Y/N: Flamethrower!
They fired their attacks and they collided which resulted in a huge explosion that covered the entire field.
