{No ones POV in particular}

Cas walked into school looking up at the arched doorway. He sighed leaning against the cold brick wall.

"Another day, another round of torture" Cas thought to himself as he prepared for what he knew would come eventually. Right then Cas caught a glimpse of a group of burly looking guys. As they made their way towards him, Cas squeezed his eyes shut and wished to be invisible.

"Please don't notice me" Cas prayed quietly. Sadly for him, it was just his luck that not only one of the guys in the group noticed him, but it just so happened to be the biggest, cruelest, leader of the group, Crowley.

After catching sight of Castiel, Crowley grinned and made his way towards the cowering boy in the archway. this was exactly what Crowley needed to start his morning off right.

Peeking through this half shut eye, Cas saw his worst nightmare coming true. He whimpered and tried to run from Crowley, but it was too late. He instead came face to face with Crowley's right hand man Alistair.

"Hello boy" Crowley spat to Castiel, as Cas shrunk down wishing he was just having another nightmare.

Of course it wasn't a dream, and Cas soon found himself being shoved around roughly by Alistair.

"You say something when Crowley speaks to you!" Alistair demanded, earning a meek "Hello Crowley" from Castiel.

"Not good enough" Alastair responded as Crowley silenced him with a glare.

"I'll handle this." Crowley said with authority, causing Alastair to back down with a quiet "Yes my king".

"Louder." Crowley spoke to Cas in a sweet, yet assertive tone.

"Hello Crowley." Cas stated a little louder, his voice only wavering at the end.

"Good boy." Crowley patted Cas on the head. Crowley's minions roared with laughter and Crowley smirked. "We are gonna have lots of fun today Castiel."

Cas face slipped into the well known blank mask he had become accustomed to for quite a while now. With his mask on Cas would not show any pain or emotion while Crowley was wailing on him. It was only after that the mask would crumble to shreds and Cas would be left feeling lost and alone.

Crowley, not satisfied with the embarrassment he caused Cas, decided to take it a step farther. He slammed Cas into the arched doorway, and Cas could feel a bruise forming along with the many others that had built up over time.

Cas stared blankly as he watched Crowley weigh his options, before deciding he was no where near done with Cas at the moment.

"Come on." Crowley growled, grabbing Cas's arm and leading him behind the school. The bell had just rung and the usual crowd of people had subsided into nothing.

"Oh great." Cas thought. This was not how he had wanted his morning to go at all.

{Cas POV}

It was all a blur of punches, laughs, and insults.

The only difference was that Crowley had a weird look of hatred in his eyes as he beat me to a pulp.

There was something else there too, could it be hurt? But why would Crowley be hurting? And why do I care? He is the one beating me up at the moment!

I'm brought back to reality as a sicking crunch is heard. I feel warm liquid run down my face, and my vision starts to go black. All I'm aware of is the pain on my face and ribs.

"Please, stop!" I whimper.

Why can't they just leave me here to die?

I feel a final crack before falling to the ground. I am faintly aware of a deep car engine, and a flash of dirty blonde hair before I sink into unconscious.
