Erica's POV:

Finally I'm out of his room, as normal. It's quite tormenting.

Stupid vampire, calling me Rica. Only my loved once called me that.

Emma walked up to me as grandmother walked bind her.

Wait a sec, did I just call ma'am Lucy grandmother. What's with me today?

"Erica. Is my broken brother alright?" Emma asked as I stared at her trying to suppress the laugh in my head that wants to come out through my mouth.

"Yes he will be alright." I replied as Emma and ma'am Lucy hugged me tightly.

Okay this is getting weird and weirder everyday I live in this Eternal Kingdom castle.

"Thanks so much. Thank you, you'll be rewarded with huge ransom." Ma'am Lucy told me cleaning the tears that dropped from her both eyes.

I know what It means not wanting to loose someone you dearly care. But if she gives me money, I've got nothing to do with it. All the money I've gotten as a castle maiden, Linda, Rosa, Lisa and Sia are the once who spends it not me.

Yeah that's how carefree I'm with money. I grew up without having an urge of wanting to have everything. I grew up to become stronger and paid no attention to money and wants.

That's how different I'm from most women.
What can I say. I was born into riches but the day I lost my mother I saw riches can't heal the hole in me.

Nothing can heal that hole, Instead the hole grew bigger because of Steven.

"Erica." Ma'am Lucy called my name louder.

"Yes ma'am."

"You blank out for 2 minutes it was creepy." Emma told me.

"I apologies for my absent mindedness." I apologies.

"I ain't angry at all. Go rest Erica, I want you to check Steven in the evening okay." She requested.

"I'll make sure of that." I replied heading to the room.

I opened the door to see the girls playing pillow fight. They were even half naked and the pillow foam scattered everywhere.

They immediately stopped when I opened the door and stepped in.
Once I shut the door they returned back to their little play.

"I thought you all were crying and wailing some minutes ago?" I questioned with a hint of confusion and a shocked expression

"Of course we felt the Sire's pain but now we feel that he's okay." Linda replied emphasizing on the word 'Okay' as they all stopped playing.

"Yep If you didn't know, we all servants are bond to him." Sia told me.

"Any physical pain our Sire feels we feel it."Sonia added.

"Don't get us wrong. Only his mate, soul mate can feel the severe pain he feels. We his subjects feels pity and wouldn't want to loose our great king." Lisa elaborated

"So get use to our wailing and sympathy cry. Because no one is ready to loose a good king," Rosa said with a happy smile.

"A good king you say?" it was more of a question than a statement.

"Yep." Replied Sia.

"Okay." I plainly spoke walking towards the restroom to wash off Steven's blood off me.

Less observant people didn't know I was covered in their king's blood. After bathing, I walked off to my bed, I dusted the pillow foam and laid on the bed resting my head on nothing.
