Erica's POV

Before I could knock at his study room door, he replied with.

"Step in."

As I gladly did.

"How did you know it was me?" That was my first question I threw out.

"I know how you scent Erica." He told me packing up his document as I glared at him.

He was wearing a clerk eyeglass which gave him a powerful sexy look to add to the fire, some strands of hair fell on his left eyes.

God, why does this man look so hot?

"Stop... "

"Erica take a sit." He cuts me off.

"I'm not interes..."

"Erica I said take a sit." He repeated once again, this time with a serious calm voice.

I walked up to the couch and sat down as he did same beside me. I shifted a little and I thanks heavens he didn't shift any closer.

"Stop sending me those gift." I told him stenly.

"If I did you wouldn't come see me."

"What?" I questioned in confusion.

"The first week I sent does gift to you, I was expecting you to come question me about it, But you didn't. So I continued till you came."

"Now I'm here, so stop."

"But you ain't wearing any of the cloths, shoes and jewelries I sent?" He queried looking at me with full curiosity.

"Can't you see that my friends are the ones wearing and eating your gifts."

"Did you just call them your friends?" He questioned with widened eyes.

"Oh yes." I replied in confusion. "At least they are more reasonable than you," which I know they aren't at all. He had a gloomy expression on.

"Erica please, I beg for your forgiveness."

Did the vampire king just say please.

"I've told you countless times that you're wasting your time. Stop this whole nonsense."

I got up ready to leave his study room when he stopped me by my wrist.

"Erica why are you so hard to understand?"

"I wouldn't be this hard if you weren't a jerk back then. Nothing you'll do that will entice me, not cloths, not shoes, not bags, not flowers, nothing. The day you enslaved me, what was I wearing?" I questioned

But he didn't answer.

"So cut the chase and leave me alone." I warned again leaving his room.

He's just insane.

I opened the room and entered to see they were enjoying the candies.

"Hey babe, where went you?" Questioned Lisa as I dragged her off my bed.

"Did you go talk to your man to send more goodies?" Rosa queried as I pushed her off my bed with my body and laid on the bed covered with candy wraps.

"You know, the man sending all this gift is definitely not among the castle guards." Linda mentioned.

"Yes, Erica's man is definitely rich." Sia blurted out.

I narrowed my eyes to her and then placed it back on the ceiling shutting it close. "Let this day pass by."
