Episode 41

Erica's POV:

I raised my head away from his masculine chest to look at his face all the way up as he stared at me all the way down. Damn I'm so small.

"If he did spare her life why did your specie eliminate her after she finally found happiness?" I questioned my eyes becoming watery. Why am I being so soft and emotional around him? This is not me. Trust me. "Your specie also took something very special away from me." I told him suddenly pouting at him.

He caressed my hair. "I knew nothing about such, Rica please believe me," he said and I saw myself nodding. "You're so damn cute." He complimented dragging the tip of my nose. "Lets go have dinner then."

"Yeah. But keep it in mind I'll still kill yhh" I replied breaking the hug as he nodded with a sweet smile.

We left the library as my thoughts were on his recent story about my mother killing his own mother.

"Steven those years back. Were vampires and humans in harmony?"

"Somthing like that but not really. Not all kingdoms accepted us to rule over them. For example yuh kingdom. War spread out more after what happened between yuh mother and mine," he said freely and I nodded my head.

After seconds of thinking while climbing down the stares heading to the royal dinning room.

I mindlessly blurted out. "Something is off about that your father's kinsman."

"What did you say Rica?" He questioned not hearing what I just said.

"Nah. Nothing." I replied with a smile as he held my hand passing in front of other maidens and guards as they gasped in shock.

Steven screw yuh.

The next day after I was done with my duties, I took my bath ready to sleep. Through out today I was glad Steven didn't call for me.

I could now sleep peacefully. I glanced around the room to see that Rosa and Linda were fast asleep. I looked at my night dress to see how uncomfortable it was.

It seems like I was the only maiden who wore the most exposive night dress. My back was all open and the night dress stopped above my knee.

I laid on my back and covered my body with my duvet ready to enter dreamland. Then a knock was heard from the door.

Oooh gosh who's that now. I whined within. I'll just pretend I didn't hear anything. Then the knock became much louder.

Rosa groan and got up from the bed sluggishly, she walked up to the door and fling it open with full annoyance.

"My apologies but Sire seeks Erica presence."

"What?" I mentally screamed.

"Erica you're needed by the king," Rosa casually said falling back on her bed sluggishly.

"Why now?" I questioned the girl. "I really don't know but it's urgent." She replied.

"Let me put something on." I told her getting up from my bed.

"That won't be necessary he needs you in 30 seconds."

What's wrong with that man? No, I've got to put on my bra at least. I grabbed by bra from the night stand putting it on also with my night dress robe and rushed out of the door closing it behind me.

The maiden left for her own room as I rushed up the stairs now standing before Stevens door. I quietly knocked on the door hoping he won't answer.

"Step in." As I did closing the door behind me.
