As I walked into the crowded bar, I couldn't help but feel a little nervous. I wasn't used to going out on my own like this, but my friend Victoria had convinced me to come along with her. We had met a few weeks ago by chance and hit it off immediately, bonding over our love of music and art.

As we navigated our way through the throngs of people, Victoria suddenly grabbed my arm and pulled me towards a group of people standing near the back of the bar. "Come on, Y/n, I want you to meet my friends," she said, grinning.

I followed her, feeling a little apprehensive as we approached the group. But as soon as I got closer, I saw a familiar face. It was Thomas, my old friend from high school. We had been close back then, but over the years we had lost touch.

"Y/n! I can't believe it's you!" Thomas exclaimed as soon as he saw me. He pulled me into a tight hug, and I couldn't help but smile.

We spent the rest of the night catching up, reminiscing about old times and filling each other in on what we had been up to since we last saw each other. I was surprised to learn that Thomas was now in a band called Måneskin, and even more surprised when Victoria told me that she was the bassist.

Before I knew it, it was well past midnight and the bar was starting to empty out. Victoria invited me back to the Måneskin house, where the band lived and rehearsed. I hesitated for a moment, but ultimately decided to go along with her.

As soon as we walked in the door, I could feel the energy of the place. The walls were covered in posters and art, and there were instruments strewn about everywhere. Ethan, Damiano, and Thomas all greeted us warmly, and I could tell right away that they were close-knit.

We spent the next few hours chatting, listening to music, and drinking. At some point, Thomas pulled me aside to talk privately. "I can't believe I've reconnected with you like this," he said, looking at me with a mixture of wonder and affection. "I've missed you so much."

I felt my heart skip a beat as I looked into his eyes. Suddenly, I realized that I had missed him too. Over the course of the night, I had found myself drawn to him, and I couldn't deny that I was attracted to him.

As the night wore on, everyone else gradually drifted off to bed, leaving Thomas and me alone in the living room. We sat there, talking quietly and listening to music.

Finally, Thomas leaned over and kissed me. It was a soft, gentle kiss, but it was enough to make my heart race. We pulled away from each other, and I could see the same spark of attraction in his eyes that I felt in mine.

As Thomas and I sat on the couch, lost in our own world, we didn't notice Victoria walk into the living room until she cleared her throat.

"Hey, guys," she said, looking at us with a knowing smile. "I'm glad to see you two are hitting it off."

Thomas looked a little embarrassed, but I could see the affection and gratitude in his eyes as he looked at Victoria. "Thanks for bringing Y/n here tonight," he said, his voice filled with emotion. "I'm glad she's here again."

Victoria smiled at both of us. "I had a feeling you two would get along," she said. "You were always such good friends in high school."

I felt a pang of guilt as Victoria mentioned our past friendship. It was true that Thomas and I had been close in high school, but we had lost touch over the years. I couldn't help but wonder if we could have found our way back to each other sooner if I had made more of an effort to stay in touch.

But those thoughts quickly faded as Thomas pulled me close to him. "It doesn't matter what happened in the past," he said, his voice soft. "What matters is that we're together now, and we're happy."

I smiled, feeling my heart swell with love for him. It was true that I couldn't change the past, but I could focus on the present and the future. And in that moment, I knew that my future was with Thomas.

Victoria watched us for a moment before heading twoards the stairs. "Well, I'm going to head to bed," she said. "You two lovebirds can stay up as late as you want."

As she walked away, Thomas leaned in to kiss me again. "I love you, Y/n," he said, his voice filled with sincerity.

"I love you too, Thomas," I replied, feeling a sense of contentment wash over me.

We spent the rest of the night talking and laughing, and when the sun started to rise again, we knew it was time to head to bed. As we curled up together under the covers, I knew that I had found my soulmate, and that nothing could ever come between us again.
