Dedicated to my best friend. Happy birthday, Emperor_Drakkon! 💖

And, The Owl House ends today as well. Thank you, Dana Terrance, for the wonderful memories and for creating characters that I'll cherish forever. 💖

Edalyn Clawthorne AKA The Owl Lady…well. Formerly. She still remembered when she went by that name before getting married.

That was a long time ago.

“Thinking about your past again?” Someone asked. Eda turned and smiled at who came beside her. Her spouse, Raine Whispers.

Or rather, Raine Clawthorne, now.

“Mayyyybe.” Eda chuckled, holding Raine’s hand and kissing their cheek.

Raine smiled at that before looking out at the porch. “Hooty and Owlbert are asleep. So, what are you doing out here?”

“Guess I wanted some fresh air.” Eda shrugged. “Sometimes it’s nice to be outside.”

Raine chuckled. “True.”

The two sat down on the bench before Raine’s head perked a little. “Hey, do you hear that?”

Raine scratched their head. “Like a…woosh! A-whooshing zoom!” They exclaimed before sighing. “That was dumb.”

Eda snorted. “And I love you because of it. But whaddya-“

Then, a crashing sound was heard. Both Eda and Raine jumped outta their seats, with Eda grabbing a shovel as a weapon and holding it high into the air.

Raine grabbed their flashlight from inside and shined it around. “What was that?!”

“I don’t know.” Eda said, wielding her shovel like a sword. “Wanna find out…?”

Raine sighed, already knowing there was no point in arguing. So, they grabbed the machete from inside. “Yup.”

…they just keep that around. It was a wedding present from Eda's father.

The two made their way through the forest, with Eda still holding the shovel like she was about to impale someone with it.

Raine just had the machete in its sheath before hearing someone walking. They gave a silent gesture to their wife to be silent before peeking out. Their eyes widened.

There in front of them was Hunter holding King, Kiki, and Vee all walking.

At first glance, it would look like cosplay…but no. They were too real to be cosplayers.

“Rainstorm?” Eda asked.

Raine just grabbed their wife and had her look. Eda’s eyes widened shortly after.

"...What the actual fuck." Eda whispered.

Raine nodded. “Eda, we aren’t drunk, are we?”

"Well, I don't feel dizzy, or nauseous, or randomly horny… so no. I don't think so."

Raine blinked. “Okay then…so, we are actually seeing a snake with hair and arms, a midget with a clawed hand for hair, an elf wearing gold and red, and a dog with a dinosaur skull on his head.”

"Looks like it, yeah." Eda nodded, surprisingly calm.

Raine rubbed their eyes after taking off their glasses, just to make sure this was real. “Okay then…what do we do?!” They whispered/shouted.
