Through the mirror, the trees seemed dead. Not in a litteral sense. The pines were full of thick needles that carried a strong and pleasant scent. It was the lack of movement that made them seem dead. The castle seemed huge on the outside, certainly more than large enough for the likes of the three. There would be no council here. No Nightmare to steal their child. No Star Sanses to widow Reaper. Before the parents knew it, they were across the mirror and walking a brick path up to a pony chaise. It was empty now, but Reaper had the feeling that they would be back. He should have considered that there would be others from this multiverse who lived here... maybe they could shelter their little family until they could get their own place? Error's thoughts seemed to run in the same vein as he softly tugged Reaper along towards the open wooden doors of the castle. "hello..?" Reaper called, just outside the door. They wanted to make a good impression, interacting with outsiders for the first time. "bonjour?" Someone had come in answer to Reaper... but it was the last person either of them wanted to see.

Reaper's magic sparked as Error drew on his strings, expecting a fight. Exist started to fuss at the sudden tension and 'Ink' backed up, holding out his hands. "attendez! wait, wait! friendly!" His French accent was thick, but it seemed he did know English, and seeing as he didn't draw a weapon yet, Reaper decided to give this Ink a shot. "i'm sorry... you reminded us of someone else... that person doesn't really like my lover... nor our child. do you own this castle..?" It took him a second to look at Error and Exist before he shook his head. "come. i take you to him." This multiverse's Ink waved them in, and very reluctantly, they followed. The halls echoed with their footsteps as they traveled the halls. The walls held paintings of all sorts. Some of landscapes, some of rooms (most likely within the castle), and some were painted portraits of someone who looked like Fresh and a child bearing a resemblance of Error, and a much older skeleton with similarities to Error's likeness. The Ink brought them to where the two Error's seemed to be getting ready to leave with the Fresh.

"encre, would you like to join us this evening..." He trailed off upon seeing the new faces. "king fallacy, these mortels need to speak to you. je pense qu'ils ont de gros problèmes..." The Ink now known as Encre whispered. The Error, apparently a king named Fallacy, looked Reaper and Error over before zeroing in on the child. "i see... you need a place to raise your offspring." Reaper stepped up to speak up once more. It was weird, not hearing this Error glitch. "yes, your majesty... at least until we can get settled and get a home of our own..." Fallacy nodded slowly. "and what of the trouble you are in?" Reaper and Error exchanged a look. "we came from a... a very faraway place in order to escape it..." Fallacy nodded again, walking closer to Reaper and Error. "and your thoughts on vampires?" Vampires? Reaper looked closer and sure enough, Fallacy had fangs. He was death though, and was pretty sure that he and his family could handle a vampire if Fallacy tried to attack or something. "vampire, mortal, god? what does it matter as long as exist is safe..?" Fallacy turned suddenly. "suave, prepare a room for our guests." The Fresh, Suave, nodded. "yes, m'lord." Suave left the room. Like that, Reaper and his family had a temporary home.
