It took a while to get the hang of knitting needles. Error loved this hobby, was literally making a career out of it, but Reaper had never taken an interest. Not until now, when it was probably too late. But maybe if he could make something... maybe if he tried harder to show interest in Error's hobbies... it was a long shot. But it was better than nothing. It was better than dwelling in the pain in his wings. He focused on trying to make a line first. Just a line to work with. It wasn't going too well, though. He should've paid more attention. He didn't think much of the baby cries at first. Error and the others must've been home. Error would settle her in no time. Only he didn't. Reaper frowned and got up to see what was going on. She was back in her crib, in one of the extravagant empty spaces not far from his room. Reaper had been in enough situations to know this was a honeytrap. He was the bee. Someone in there was lying in wait for him with the intent to kill him. But even in all his rage, Error would never put the baby in danger, so who...?

Reaper stepped out into the room with his intent on calming the baby. The doppelganger could have never known that Mors what lying in wait for him, ready to execute so he and Caedes could finally get back to their lives in peace with their new child.
And yet.
Yet...
Even with all his vampiric speed and strength. Even with Reaper's wings broken and bandaged. The mortal still blocked his axe. Mors only hesitated a moment to look at the slender, blue lit pole, the sleek, sharp, magic fueled blade before his eyelights met with Reaper's. Mors felt his sins crawling down his back as he jumped away. Reaper scoffed, his aura dangerous as he started to float off the ground, eyelights extinguished. "my death touch may not affect you like it does most mortals, but nobody c a n e s c a p e d e a t h ." Mors yelped as the scythe tore through his execution axe like it was nothing, bones rose up around the baby to protect her. Mors took to the air, thinking he could flee death only for Reaper to appear above him and kick him down. How could Mors have known he'd picked a fight with death himself?

"where is error!" Reaper demanded as he shortcut down. Mors tried to escape, but Reaper summoned blasters to block the exits. The room seemed to grow thicker and darker as Reaper was made to wait. His vampiric counterpart backed himself into a wall in a vain attempt to keep away. His poor Exist was still crying. He had to make this quick. Mors gulped as the blade of the scythe pressed against his neck. "this is the last time i will ask before i send you to hell. where. is. error." He commanded. "c-caedes has him! caedes told me to bring the baby back and he would take care of him!" Mors whimpered. Caedes. Caedes had him. Geno always did do anything he could to get what he wanted. Reaper knew that. Reaper took care of Mors immediately before going to calm the baby. He couldn't take too long, Error needed him now, but he couldn't leave her scared. "don't worry, honey... daddy will fix this aaaalllll up, then you don't gotta fear no more... everything will be ok..."
