Catalina put a foot on the floor. It was definetly a well-known air.
Argentina, home sweet home.
Her father was behind her. They did all the procedures left in the airport, and went to the hotel.
The girl literally threw her luggage in the room and ran out to the hospital.
'Wait Cata! Hold on a second!'
'I can't hold on, I have to see her'
'Just calm down ok? She's going to be ok'
'I just hope that'
When they reached the hospital, the climbed to the thrid floor, where in the room numer 121, her mother was sleeping calmy.
At the door, there was standing a woman figure. Catalina approached her.
'Aunt Erica?' she asked.
The woman turned around. 'Oh my God, you're here'
They huged. How long hadn't they seen each other?
'Aunt Eri, I want to introduce someone to you' Catalia said breaking the hug.
Erica looked behind her niece. She totally knew who he was.
'He is Joachim Low. He is my father'
The adults looked at each other. They weren't comfortable with the situation.
'I don't know what are you doing here, Low' she told him threateningly
'Taking care of my daughter, as I should have done since she was born' he asked firmly.
Catalina didn't notice the fact that they'd known each other, in order to the awakening of her mother.
'She is opoening her eyes!' She shouted in a whisper getting closer to the bed.
'Yes Cata, she was just sleeping, stay with here all the time you want dear.
Catalina took her mother's hand.
'Hi mum, I'm back... I came back to see you'
Nancy tried to focus her eyes on her.
'Hello my love' she could say.
'What did you do to you, mum?' she asked, observing her fallen eyes and her gaunted face.
'It was an accident, my dear, and I'm really sorry for everything'.
Outside the hospital, in the sidewalk, Joachim and Aunt Eri were almost on fire.
'WHAT? You are not going to take her away from me!' he shouted at her.
'Take her away? It's legal, Joachim, because she is still under her mother's jurisprudence, or under mind, if something else happens.'
'I think you don't understand she ismy daugther too, Erica'
'I'm sorry, but you were always absent, I'm afraid to tell you'
Joachim's eyes popped out of their place
'Are you talking serious? I didn't know I have her until las year! You and your sister hid everything from me! And I'm not going to let you taker her away from one more time!'
People around them was starting to pay atettion to the situation. Joachim was out of his place. He didn't understand anything. He didn't know even what he was doing. But he keep on objective in his mind: Catalina will stay with him.
The other day, Joachim went to the hospital where Catalina had stayed over the night. She was in the buffet.
'Hello princess, how are you doing?' he asked, giving her a little breakfast.
'Tired, I think, I didn't know it was going to be out like this'
'What do you mean?'
'I had been expecting to come back to Argentina since the moment I put a foot in Germany. Now, with what's happening, I feel like going back again to Munich.' she finished, with tears in her eyes.
'It's ok, love, we will have time to come back there' he comforted her while he hugged her.
'No, dad. We won't.' she exclaimed, breaking the hug.
'What?'he asked afraid.
'I'm going to stay here dad, taking care of my mum. I hve to be here. For her and for me.'
'But...but.... we can talk about this, you don't have to make a desicion, nobody can decide for you, you know right? we have to think about thi...'
'No, dad. I thought about it all night long. I decided to stay here, at least until the autum begins'
'I can't leave you, Cata. Nonono, I can't.' he exclaimed getting nervous. The tears stremed from his face now.
'You will not lose me, father.' she touched his face. 'Here, take this drawing. I painted especially for you.'
'I don't want you out of my life, Cata, not again'.
'Look at me. It's for some time, ok? I promise you I'll come back'
The hugged each other tightly.
'Oh don't cry old man, we can talk via Skype. I can send you whatsapps and you can answer me by letters.'
They let a little laugh fill the enviroment.
'I'm not that old!'
'Yes you are!'
They spent the rest of the morning together, until the clock struck half past twelve and Joachim had to go away. Although the heat in the enviroment, the cold was king of their hearts.
'Take care of youself, dear'
'I will, you too.'
'I love you, Cata'.
'Me too, dad, me too'.
Saying this, both took separated ways. It seemed as every piece had came back to its own place.
Hello! Well, I know the story it's getting worse as every chapter is published, so I want to be honest with you. I don't feel like writing in English anymore, I mean, I like it and all, but to my mind, it has turned to be difficult and without any feelings. So, sorry if the chapters are like... "meh". Anyways, we are near from the end, and I have ideas (?) have a nice day, love youuuu!
