He was nervous. His players were on the pitch, training and getting ready for the next match. His palms were sweaty, he hadn't been so nervous since the world cup's final, where his team had won. In the meantime, he remembered how this had happened, how he had got to this point. One day he was winning the world cup, the next one he was told he had a daughter, and two months after that, she was coming to live and create some kind of family with him. It was a lot of pressure and he wasn't sure if he would be able to handle it.
The noise of steps took him out from his thinking, and a pale face with light brown hair and bright blue eyes appeared in front of him. She was definitely her mother appearance. He took a big swallow and opened his mouth.
'Hi' he said 'welcome Catalina' he smiled.
She just stayed quiet, with an unfriendly look.
'um... I understand you're tired. We have to go to the pitch, I have to look after my boys, you know haha' She kept serious 'well...are you hungry? I've bought you a Mc Donalds's hamburger'
'Thank you' she said taking the food.
He walked to the field, followed by her. When they got, Catalina's eyes opened wide. She saw all the DFB players, running over the place. She couldn't do anything but hate them. Yeah, she really did.
'Sit there in the bench if you want to, I'll be right there if you need me' Jogi told her, and she obeyed.
The team stared at her as she crossed the field to sit. The knew about the coach's daughter, but it was really a big surprise to see her there. She just didn't care. She ate her hamburger and eventually fell asleep. Tiredness got her.
'HELLO? Is someone over there?' suddenly she heard a male voice shouting to her. As she opened her eyes, she saw a blond boy standing next to her 'Hey Mario! she woke up, tell Jogi!!" She took her hair out of her face and looked to the guy. 'So you're the couch's daughter, aren't you? It's hard to believe that haha' he told her with a cheerful voice 'I'm Marco Reus by the way' he finished holding his hand to her. She didn't accepted. 'ok.. so, what's up?' he asked her.
She looked his eyes and took a sigh "Well, let me see, I don't understand any word of your language, I lost my life and I'm kilometres away from the ones I love, so I'm totally fine, don't you think?' She said in a very sarcastic voice.
In that moment, another guy showed his face in the conversation.
'Hallo! Welcome to the team, I guess!' he said happily 'We've already known you, but maybe you not, so... I'm Mar...' but he was interrupted.
'Yeah, I know who you are' she exclaimed, a little too angry 'I'm Argentinean, I really do know who you are'.
Both friends were petrified, after a while, Götze decided to talk. 'We didn't know that, it's a pleasure anyway...see you later' He turned around and walked towards the exit, right behind was Marco.
"What a grumpy girl!' Reus whispered.
'I think she's pretty' Mario answered back, with a little half smile.
Marco didn't say anything, although that commentary worried him a little.
Hours later, Catalina was in bed. She hadn't spoken to her "dad" the whole day, and she wouldn't do neither. She turned off the lights and closed her eyes. Her first day had finally end.
