'Hello! Welcome!' Bastian exclaimed in a hug. 'Give me your coats, please, and feel at your home!' he finished with a big grin.

The midfielder had decided to give a party and the coach and daughter couldn't be absent. In fact, both of them had agreed to attend immediately, to avoid any awkward and sad situation like Christmas's one. Now, they had three things for sure: food, music and no fights.

Catalina was surprised by the amount of people celebrating the night. Straight to her there was the majority of Bayern's players, playing amused with the play station, to her left, by the kitchen table there were a group of women, which were player's wives and girlfriends. She watched them, doing what they were doing, with the dog resting in her arms.

People approached to greet them, especially her father, who -obviously- was very admirable. She was quiet but watching every single detail of the ones who approached them. She thought in how difficult must have been for her father to truly rely on someone and open his mind, leaving behind all that shallow person he had to be in front of the cameras and a team.

'Finally I have the pleasure to see you again' one voice talked. She cleared her mind out of thoughts and saw who was talking.

'I'm glad to see you too', Mario' she said.

'Sorry...I wasn't talking to you, I was talking to this little piece of sky, oh my god she's so cute!' Gotze exclaimed, taking Sandy in his arms and hugging her as she was her daughter.

'God, you're going to make me throw up' Catalina said making ugly faces 'And, she is mine, so take your dirty hands out of her' she finished, holding the dog again in her arms.

'Catalina, watch your mouth!' Joachim scolded, turning back from his conversation with a someone.

Mario laughed. 'That's our coach!'

'Look, if you finished laughing, I'm going to the garden, Sandy wants to run' she told him.

'Ok ok, I join you' he answered.

.

.

The backyard was all in front of them. Catalina left Sandy in the floor, and sat in the step that led to the grass path and was in the edge of the roof, which protected them from the snow. Mario did the same.

'I've seen you talking with your dad, am I right?' he asked.

'I talked with him. I don't know if we are ok, but I think we gave each other a truce and in fact we're trying to enjoy it'

'I think...you're loving him'

'Oh, don't be sentimental Gotze, please'

'You're such a party pooper! It's New Year's eve! It's the time of the year when being sentimental and romantic don't make you look weird'

'It makes you look silly, which it's worse'

'Keep scoffing, but now I won't tell you my wish for next year'

'Oh no! Mario, please, don't do that! I'd rather die!' she exclaimed, acting false pain. However, Mario's reaction made her see that a part of him wanted to talk about the topic seriously. 'Ok ok, I'm sorry, which is your wish?'

'That people stop hating me' he answered.

'Nobody hates you Gotze, not even me' she admitted, with a blush in her cheeks.

'What? oh nono, I have to record this moment! You love me, don't you? I knew it!' he exclaimed, with  a triumphant voice.

'In another life, Gotze'

'It doesn't matter. In any time and space, there is a Catalina loving a Mario and begging for him to love her'

'Maybe, but in this time and space, this Catalina will punch your face' she joked.

'AJA! You said 'maybe' so that's a yes!'

'You're one in a million Mario, and remember that because I will never say it again' she said in sigh.

Both of them looked at each other. Mario smiled to her, meanwhile she took mental notes about his face. A face that caught her view, with that look in his eyes that at that moment was melting her mind. Which would be the taste of his lips? she asked herself How would we react? she wondered. Her curiosity broke the shyness, and for once in her life, she answered her questions.

So she kissed him. It was a kiss so tiny, that he could barely feel the touch of her lips. Catalina leaned back to the wall and looked forward. Mario was still facing her, petrified for her surprising movement.

'What was that?' He asked.

'I don't know' she answered showing no interest.

'You don't know? Catalina you kissed me!' He exclaimed, shouting in a whisper.

'You could say that I kissed you, but I can say that our lips just crashed'

Mario chuckled ironically and decided to stay quiet, looking at that imaginary point in from of him, like she was doing.

A few minutes passed by when the teenager broke the silence.

'Let's go inside. It's cold here and I'm starving'

Mario nodded, watching her getting up.

'Ok, but could you help this old and handsome man to get up?'

'Sure' she answered taking his hand. However, seconds after Catalina held his hand and pulled him, he pushed her to the wall that was behind her back and kissed her. This time deeper and longer. And more 'pasional' by far.

He took a step back to watch her reaction, laughed and went to the door.

'Now we're even' he exclaimed with a satisfactory smile.

At this moment, it was Catalina who was glued to the wall, without knowledge about what to do. Or think.

'Five! Four! Three! Two! One! HAPPY NEW YEAR!' all the guests shouted at unsound. They toast for the good vibes and greeted with everyone in the room.

'Happy 2015, Cata, I hope we start with the right foot this year' Joachim told her.

'Happy year to you, dad' she answered.

Dad, Joachim thought, what a beautiful word.

The night continued with dances and love. Maybe this time they were not going to sleep yet, but they were sure they would dream with wishes, kisses and the call of 'dad' in every single voice.

Hi! Well, sorry if the chapter sucks, I couldn't find the way to write my ideas properly. Anyways, have a good day and feel free to comment and tell me what you think! :)
