Takes after when there are protesters at the hospital
Rolling the gurney in as Addison let out a hiss of pain, while telling Bailey to check on Tia and prioritize her since she's pregnant and in a critical condition.The other doctors are in the ER and some are in the clinic, checking on the wounded civilians caused of the in protesters outside,some civilians walking down the alley had gotten injured and apparently there are also protesters around the block, surrounding the hospital.
Nick was peacefully just driving his way to the hospital,the protest causing a massive traffic blocking their way in the hospital,papers were thrown at there windows with "Montgomery Murders written" on it,the people's screams were inaudible as Nick let out a sigh, looking at his watch.
"Come on" he said, tapping his fingers on the steering wheel, stepped on the gas only to hit break again.
Looking outside the window as his phone rang on the passenger seat, looking at it as he saw Bailey's name popped up.
"Dr Bailey, good morning" he greeted
"Where the hell are you!" Bailey snapped, barely even made Nick finished his sentence "You better have a good damn reason right why you're running late and not tell me you're on your way to Boston to follow your woman! Save that for next time, were in crisis right now"
"I'm aware and no,I am not on my way to Boston...." he tried to explain
"Where are you then?" Bailey asked calmly, instantly regretting snapping at the man
"I'm few blocks away from the hospital, the protestors are causing traffic"
"Leave your car on the side of the road and get your ass here, right now!" Bailey ordered
"Do you want me to get beat up by these people?" Nick asked in disbelief, letting out a small scoff "It's not safe!"
"Now!"
Letting out a frustrated sighed after hanging up, Nick took his backpack after parking the car nearby and got out of the car wearing a face mask as if to disguise himself for people not to recognize sucy me a great surgeon like him.
"Hey, you!" Nick heard a man's voice from behind, holding a banner
"Yes sir,can I help you?" he asked, trying to sound as causal as possible
"Do you know the murderer in that hospital?" the anger is obvious in the man's voice
"I'm sorry sir,I can't help you with anything I need to work" he tried to walk away,as few people started following him
"YOU PEOPLE ARE CRIMINAL, YOU SHOULDN'T BE A DOCTOR!" a woman yelled as the others yelled 'yes' as an agreement
Running for his life as Nick bumped into someone, immediately falling on his knees hissing in pain.
"You people don't deserve to be called a hero" the man said before walking away with a bloody knife in his hand, leaving Nick loosing blood, laying on the side of the road just a few meters away from the hospital's e entrance.
"How's Addison?" Richard asked spotting Bailey in the ER frowning at her phone
"Shepherd cleared her CT and Link put her a cast on" she simply said, "and Kwan?"
"He's doing charts"
"Bailey... what's wrong?" sensing that something's wrong he finally asked
"I'm trying to call Marsh, he's not picking up"
