Hey y'all!!! Omg it happened, didn't it!!!
Meredith and Nick are finally back together and I loved their scenes together this finale, it's really worth the wait!!! And I really loved jealous Nick.
Anyway, here is what I would want to happen after they both talked their feelings out....
Resting their forehead against each other while smiling, Meredith's arm resting on his waist as Nick's hand on her waist a well the other one caressingly her cheeks lovingly, getting lost in her eyes once again if all the feelings he shove off, all the rage in him, the regrets all fade of and everything around them disappeared,as if Meredith's the only one in front of him at the moment.
"I missed you more" was his first response as she once again, wrapped her arm around his neck and stroke his nape softly
"Congratulations on your nomination" she replied,still lost in his eyes
"Well...I should thank you for that," he chuckled, caressing her waist up and down, "you're my inspiration" he added shyly,and she just chuckled.
After what felt like an eternity, just standing there and looking at each other's eyes, Meredith was the first to break their gaze and talk.
"I should go...the kids," she sighed, but still clinging onto him as if she didn't wanna leave
"Or you could stay" he added making her smile, "We could order dinner...and..wine...and..." he left his words trailed off as he spoke
"And?" she questioned raising an eyebrow
"And..." he paused, thinking of the right word, "d-desert,maybe" he stammered nervously, making her chuckle
"Okay... desert sounds good," she replied, "but I need to talk to the kids first" she added and he nodded.
Nick ordered their dinner while Meredith called the sitter and talked to the kids. After he put down the phone, Meredith was still talking to the kids while standing in the bedroom. She looked beautiful tonight, she's always beautiful but tonight was extra. She's wearing a full face of make up,dress that fitted her curve down reaching her toes and almost the floor.
He missed her more than anything and he couldn't help but just look at her smiling brightly while talking to her wonderful kids. Her laugh,oh Jesus how much he missed that. He must have been staring at her for too long he didn't even noticed her calling his name.
"Nick?" she softly spoke,"are you okay?" she asked, standing by the door in front of him.
"Y-yeah,I just... I really missed this... us" he answered honestly with a sighed
She leaned into him, pressing her lips against his and as if he was automatic, he immediately kissed back, pulling her body close to his until their bodies were touching and felt each other's warmth.
"Not-yet-the-food" she said in between kisses, as they're both now breathing heavily, "Nick.. the food" she breathed heavily when he kissed the spot behind her ear, that sent a shiver down her spine
"Screw the food... I want you" he replied, finding the small zipper behind her dress and slowly pulled it down as his lips once again caught hers before she pulled away.
"What?" he asked confused
"What if—" she was interrupted by the doorbell, "Food first then we'll get to dessert" she teased him, before walking to the bathroom, holding the dress onto her chest.
"THAT'S RUDE MEREDITH GREY!" he yelled at her playfully, shaking his head in disbelief and walked to the door after he again heard the doorbell rang.
When Meredith came out of the room,she had already taken a bath and was wearing a white fluffy robe while her hair is down to her shoulders.
Then, she spotted Nick laying in bed with his phone. She cleared her throat making her look up.
"Who's that? and why are you smiling?" she asked him,a small smile on her lips as she's leaning against the door of the bathroom
"Charlotte..." he sighed, sitting up straight in bed, "she called and asking about the awarding... and she was not disappointed that I didn't won... but she would have been so if I told her I haven't talked to you" he added
"You talk to her about me?" she ask amusedly,by now she was smili widely and sat sideways on his lap
"Why? Do you not want me to talk to her about my girlfriend? Or do you want me to talk about other woman to her?" he questioned her making hsr mom chuckle, "Yes, of course I talk to her about you... not only because I love you, but also because she likes you for me as well" he added as she rested her head on his shoulder, wrapping her arms around him.
"I like her too... she's amazing" Meredith added, "even though we met at a very unexpected moment and interrupted me when I about to finish" she chuckled softly
"You never told me you were about to finish!" he gasped,as she looked at him in shock
"Oh— did I say that out loud?" she innocently asked, making him let out a laugh, "But yes, I was close cause you were too good" she admitted shyly
"You were good too," he added making her roll her eyes at him, "And I really miss you screaming my name" he added in deep voice, against her ear making her close her eyes.
His hands, reaching in between her tighs in het robe. "We should eat dinner first... the food is getting cold" she breathef heavily, closing her eyes, enjoying the feeling of his hands caressing her tighs.
"You've said that many times tonight, Meredith" he replied, opening her robe, "Besides, this is better than dinner anyway"
"I didn't have lunch today, Nick" she admitted making him stop and look at her with concern
"When's the last time you slept" he asked, more serious this time, "Meredith, when's the last time you slept?" he asked more sternly this time
"2 days ago...I think" she admitted looking away and stood up, making her way to grab her phone
"Why?" he asked confusedly. Confused about why is her research seemingly more important than her own health. She looked so tired, but still because, and she looked way skimmer than the last time he saw her. "Is your research more important than your own health?" he asked, following her in the living area
"No, why would you say that!" she replied at him, "it's just... it's been really hard, I've been having hard time with the research and when Richard told me you changed your mind and you're coming here...I was anxious, because I didn't know what to say" she admitted s
"Still not reason to stop taking a break and take care of yourself" he said, reaching for her hands, caressing it softly, "I'm here... and I'll never leave you again. I promise" he reassured her, pulling her for a warm hug.
Her hugs. That's also what he missed so much from him. Her skin wrapped around his, it's just felt so safe and feels like home
"Wiat," she pulled awa6, sniffing softly, "didn't you say you almost died today? What happened?" she wanted to know as he opened his mouth and closed again when he didn't know what to say, "Nick?"
"There was a mild turbulence in the plane," he started as her eyes widened in shock and he immediately felt her body tensed up, "But were okay, nothing more happened... it was a small shake and I'm used to it" he tried to reassure her, pulling her again into his arms as if their lives depend on it.
