Tell me what i am.
Tell me where i fit.

I feel like a ball of yarn,
played about a kitten pen.

Ravaged by kind claws.
Pounced. Enjoyed. Napped upon.

Rewrapped by wrinkled hands,
only to be thrown to ferrets.

What Is my color?
Tell me the sound of my voice.

I hear green frogs,
or blue painted rocking chairs when I speak.

The chorus of an evening
never meant for concert halls.

Tell Me where I fit.
Place Me, like an orphaned puppy,

or an aged old elder, into a home.
Someone else's problem.

Tell Me what I am.
you're wrong, but tell me anyway.
